Then his expression changed. As a Kobold with a trace of Great Dragon blood, the Kobold Shaman was exceptionally sensitive to True Dragon bloodlines. In an instant, he sensed a True Dragon's aura from the girl. He took a long step back and stared at her in shock. "You! Who are you?"
The little girl looked no more than eleven or twelve. Her face was bright with innocence as she smiled at the Kobold Shaman. "My name's Aidya. Is there a problem?"

By now, he was certain the little girl before him was a Great Dragon using an illusion to take human form.
From the Kobold Shaman's experience, she was probably a young dragon. She might not be very strong herself, but dragons, like any other creatures, had mothers and fathers. They did not spring from cracks in rocks. Her mother had to be a dragon too, and her father certainly could not be a Kobold.
