With those factors in mind, Green decided to cut straight to the point. Given this Faceless Man's initial loyalty of over eighty, he could not lie to Green or conceal anything from him.
Besides, Green was certain Tawagel wanted him to ask.
Sure enough, the Faceless Man immediately knelt again and pleaded, "Great master, owner of the Mysterious Graveyard, please save the Faceless people!"
Green nodded slightly. He had expected as much. If his people's survival had not been at stake, Tawagel would never have knelt and submitted so readily.
Through their Soul Link, the Faceless Man then passed him some relevant information.
This Faceless Man came from a small Void World numbered above 160.
It had no single ruler. Instead, three Calamity-Rank Strong Ones had divided it among themselves, and Tawagel was one of them.
Yet above those three stood an even more mysterious Lord of the Graveyard.
From the images Tawagel sent him, Green grew more certain that, just as he had thought, the Graveyard in that Void World was almost identical to his own.
It had few buildings, though, and neither its outer walls nor its City Defense Fortresses had been upgraded. It appeared to be a relatively low-level Graveyard that had not been managed very well.
Green was not especially surprised to see it.
When he had explored the Mist World, he had seen the ruins of several cities. The foundations left behind by their buildings and their broken walls had borne some resemblance to the Graveyard.
In the ruins of one city, he had even found a Portal that could still be opened.
Back then, he had suspected his Graveyard might not be unique. Other Graveyards, or cities belonging to other races, might well exist somewhere in the Void.
Later, however, as the Undead Empire
