Green sensed something was wrong. If this was part of the trial, the disaster had gone far too far. It served no purpose in selecting candidates; it was more like leaving everyone's fate to the heavens.

The surrounding space had begun to grow unstable, too. Elemental energies raged out of control, as though the end of the world had arrived.

"No. Has something gone wrong with the Trial Space?" The possibility struck Green, and he grew increasingly certain of it.

Meanwhile, the Trialists whose minds had been projected here to inhabit Robot bodies underwent a change.

In a way Green could not explain, they suddenly shed their mechanical bodies. Their souls separated from them, and their true bodies took their place.

Green had no idea why this had happened.

His true body should still have been in the Main World. How could it have been transported here?

It was like playing a game, only to find himself inside its world halfway through.

Worse, that game world was on the verge of collapse.

Green could not be sure whether dying now would send him back to reality or kill him outright. The latter seemed much more likely.

Green was not the only one facing this situation. The other Trialists had also shed their Robot bodies and regained their true forms, and their former restrictions had vanished.
