Already gravely wounded, the Insect Queen was no match for Green. As the parasite entered her body, she struggled fiercely and shrieked, desperately thrusting both hands into her mouth to pull it out.

But her resistance was futile. Once the parasite entered her mouth, it was like a fish returning to water. It bit into her throat, then writhed its way deeper into her body.

After struggling for several minutes, the Insect Queen finally went still and collapsed limply to the ground, as though she were dead.

Green could sense, however, that her vitality had not weakened. It was even growing stronger.

A moment later, the Insect Queen climbed back to her feet, seemingly reborn. Every wound on her body had vanished, and even the dragon wings broken off her back had grown back.

Yet the Queen was clearly different from before.

Despite her poor condition earlier, her eyes had been lively, and she had clearly possessed considerable intelligence. Now she had an indescribably vacant look.

Green could not tell whether that was merely his impression, born of having watched the parasite enter her body.

But none of that mattered. What Green really wanted to know was whether the parasite could produce Void Milk after taking over the Insect Queen.

He then took the Insect Queen, now an Experimental Subject, back to the testing ground.

Located near the Graveyard, the site had been prepared by Green specifically for this experiment.

It covered an enormous area and contained a simulated Insect Tribe. The Insect Queen was released into this environment to become its Queen.

In the main control room outside the testing ground, Green and the researchers responsible for the experiment began closely monitoring the site.

The first step of the experiment was for the Queen serving as the Experimental Subject
