Early the next morning.

Mei Terumi sent someone to summon Long Ye to her office.

As expected, there was already a lead on the person they were looking for.

"Snow Curtain Village?"

Long Ye read the village name in the intelligence report.

Leaning against her desk, Mei Terumi, wearing the Water Shadow Hat, nodded lightly. "After making inquiries, the intelligence department has basically confirmed that she is in this village."

"The village is tiny, but it has one unusual feature: it snows there all year round. In terms of strength and size, it is among the most insignificant places in the Land of Water. Even a small pirate crew could wipe it out with ease."

The Land of Water was an island nation. It did not have the endlessly emerging bandits and mountain brigands found in the other four nations, but it was often threatened by pirates.

A village of that size could repeatedly escape pirate raids not because it was strong, but because it was weak enough. To pirates seeking riches, such a small village had no profit to offer.

"I'm not familiar with the Land of Water, so sorry for the trouble, but please find someone to take me there."

Long Ye's confidence in finding that person grew considerably.

A village of that size would have, at most, a dozen or twenty households. Even searching every single one would not be difficult.

"There's no need to send anyone. I'll go with you."

Mei Terumi used the Water Clone Technique to create a clone, maintaining the illusion that she was still in her office. Then she used the Transformation Technique to take on another appearance.

When the two of them swaggered out and were about to leave Kirigakure, they ran into the Water Shadow Guard head-on: Ao.
