The Reason to Become Stronger

"That only means you can't beat me for now. Why call it failure?"

"I don't like people using the word failure. I think failure represents a kind of compromise—a kind of surrender."

"A woman like you shouldn't be so narrow-minded."

"Besides, you think I'm very powerful, but there are countless people in this world stronger than me."

"Not to mention Mr. Rayleigh in the distance, the several admirals in the Navy, and those monsters in the New World. Right now, I have no confidence that I can beat any of them. If I followed your way of thinking, I should surrender right now."

"If you can't beat them, train hard. Do everything you can to increase your strength, then come back and fight them again."

"Even if you really want to surrender, isn't it too early now? At least wait until you're seventy or eighty and have become an old woman before saying that."

"You surrendered so readily that winning doesn't even make me happy."
