"Captain, someone's looking for you!" Kid instinctively turned toward Ryan.
"Obviously! Did you really need to say that?" Beli smacked Kid across the head. Kid was furious, but he didn't dare say a word.
Before seeing the person, they heard his voice.
A huge crater appeared in the middle of the street, shrouded in smoke and dust, making it impossible to see what had happened.
The people along the street were instantly frightened away by the scene, leaving only Ryan's group and a few bold onlookers staring in that direction.
"An expert!" Ryan frowned slightly. Judging by the voice, it was someone he didn't recognize.
Someone descending from the sky and making such a huge commotion made Ryan think of one person.
Soon, an extremely tall and burly man walked out of the thick smoke. He had shoulder-length black hair, a pair of long horns resembling dragon horns, an extremely long beard like a dragon's whiskers, and dragon-scale tattoos on his left arm. His upper body was bare.
"Kaido!" Ryan wore an expression that said he had expected as much.
There weren't many people in the pirate world who would do something like this.
"Does it have to be this exciting? We just arrived in the New World, and now we have to fight that monster, one of the Four Emperors, Kaido?" Kid rubbed his hands excitedly, looking eager to try.
Luo, the new member of the Blood Sword Pirates, merely frowned and retreated behind the others, putting some distance between himself and the dangerous Kid.
"Hm?"
Kaido's gaze immediately fell on Ryan's group. They were the only ones still standing in the middle of the street, making them especially conspicuous.
"Bloody Swordsman, I've had one hell of a time looking for you!"
"How many days has it been, huh?!
