The crystal ball showed the image of Wude's corpse opening its eyes.
It was fair to say it was terrifying and shattered one's worldview.
Little Shyarly's gaze was somewhat dazed and at a loss as she looked up at the handsome big brother, then lowered her head to look at the crystal ball in her arms.
Her divinations were always very precise, so how on earth could such an absurd image appear?
Her small cheeks were filled with massive doubt. Looking at her older sisters with her blue eyes, she wore a depressed expression. Sob, sob, sob, I feel like my divination went wrong and is no longer accurate.
"What's wrong?" a mermaid outside the crowd asked.
"I saw Wude big brother come back from the dead, wahah." Even though Shyarly had divined all sorts of magical images, her young mind could not handle the shock of someone coming back from the dead, and she burst into tears.
Wude laughed out loud. What the hell do you mean I came back from the dead.
A short while later, after Wude explained clearly, the mermaid big sisters finally "reluctantly" accepted the fact that he was an Ajin.
"To think an Ajin can come back from the dead, that's truly amazing. I still find it a bit hard to believe," a mermaid big sister marveled.
"Are there many Ajin like big brother in this world?" little Shyarly looked up and asked.
"It's not a question of whether there are many or not." Wude raised a forefinger.
"There's only one?" little Shyarly looked at him with sympathy. "Big brother must be very lonely, right?"
"Why ask that?" Wude looked at her in bafflement.
"Someone as special as big brother must be feared by people, right?" little Shyarly thought of many things.
The residents of their Fish-Man Island were different from humans and often suffered from bullies among pirates. Pirates frequently caused trouble within the island, and mermaids were sometimes captured and sold at auction houses.
As for her half-brother, he had been abandoned by his parents in Fish-Man District when he was little.
Was it because he didn't look like her?
She had often asked her father this, but never received an answer.
"Little Shyarly, think about it. Out on the ocean, the strong are respected. Why should someone who is powerful feel lonely just because they're feared? Isn't it fine just to live happily?" Wude patted her head and smiled. Besides, robbing pirates all the way here had lined his pockets. You can't imagine a big brother's happiness, little sister.
"There's only one Ajin? I still find it a bit hard to believe," a mermaid big sister said.
After happily playing in Fish-Man Island with the mermaid big sisters for a day and a half, Wude bid farewell to the pretty and sexy mermaid beauties and set sail once again.
"Big brother wants to be a marine in the future, so why act like those pirates and rush to the New World?" little Shyarly stood by the side of the ship and asked curiously.
"To have fun in Dressrosa. Like I said, people need to live a bit more happily." Wude crouched in front of little Shyarly and made funny faces at her.
"Hehe, big brother is going to see the dancers' sizzling hot dances there, right?" a mermaid brat wore a look of "I've seen through the truth" and chuckled evilly.
"Nonsense, aren't our big sisters prettier than those dancers?" little Shyarly glared angrily at her little friend, then switched back to a cute smile when facing her handsome big brother.
Big brother said she should smile more. He was good-looking, so everything he said was right.
"Hahaha, I'm off. I'll tell you stories about fairies when I get back." Wude stood up and waved goodbye to the mermaids.
Young little Shyarly was so terribly cute; you couldn't see even a tiny bit of the cold and aloof demeanor of the future "Madame Shyarly".
With the mermaid beauties watching them off, the newly coated ship sailed away from Fish-Man Island.
The New World was located in the second half of the Grand Line, where the climate and magnetic fields were even more chaotic than in Paradise.
One moment it would be clear skies with a warm breeze blowing, and the very next instant the weather could undergo a drastic change with towering waves and howling gales.
Many rookie pirate crews, upon arriving for the first time, didn't die at the hands of those powerful pirates, but instead perished in the ocean because they failed to prepare and encountered terrible sea conditions.
As a transmigrator who knew the plot, Wude had made thorough preparations in advance.
Before coming here, he had taken the trouble to find people and spend money to buy a specially made Log Pose for the New World, as well as an Eternal Pose for Dressrosa.
The ship surfaced from the depths of the sea, breaking the water's surface with a pop as a bubble burst.
Dark clouds covered the sky for miles, blocking the sunlight. Fierce sea gales howled, snapping his clothes loudly, and fierce waves battered the hull, causing the entire ship to sway violently.
"There's an island in the distance. Let's go over there and take shelter first," Wude instructed the others.
Everyone busied themselves and sailed toward the distant island.
As they approached the island, what met their eyes was utter desolation.
Barren earth accompanied ruins and debris, sketching out a bleak picture.
"Where are the people here?" Wude looked at the island. Aside from barrenness and ruins, there was not a shred of vitality; not a single intact building existed.
"Such an eerie feeling," Kai looked at a pile of gravel on the island where there was a skeleton.
Thump, thump, thump ~ thump, thump!
Rhythmic drumbeats came from afar, and everyone turned around to look behind them.
A pirate ship approached from a distance, and a heavily made-up fellow on the ship happily looked at them and waved, "What a coincidence, everyone, we meet again."
"It may be a coincidence for you, but our mood is terrible." With that, Wude immediately gave the order to weigh anchor, hoist the sails, and change locations.
Just looking at that ugly mug was enough to ruin anyone's appetite for days; it was simply indescribable in words.
The weather changed quickly, and before long, it cleared up.
Wude looked at the direction indicated by the Dressrosa Eternal Pose and headed toward it.
The journey was relatively smooth, and without running into any terrifying newkamas who could scare people to death, they arrived at Dressrosa.
During this period, Dressrosa was still under the rule of King Riku.
The ship docked at the port, and Wude stepped ashore and walked toward the island.
Flowers were scattered all over the island, and a faint fragrance drifted through the air on the breeze.
On the street, pedestrians were discussing the powerful Kyros of the arena.
"He's truly a respectable man. Having won so many matches up to now, it's no exaggeration to call him the strongest in our Dressrosa arena."
"Yeah, yeah, I'm really looking forward to him setting even more astonishing records in the future."
"What are you talking about? He's just a murderer! It's utterly baffling that you guys worship that bastard!"
"That's right, a murderer should just die! What strongest—sooner or later, someone will kill him in the arena!"
Listening to the people's discussion, Wude inquired about the arena's location all the way and walked toward it.
Dressrosa's streets were intricate and complex. Passing through an alley and heading down a stone staircase, Wude looked around.
The continuous sound of high heels stepping on the ground rang out, and a slender and sizzling hot figure with fair arms revealed herself. She walked with passionate strides, her body swaying as her bright red skirt fluttered. She turned her head and cast a lingering glance and smile at the people watching her dance.
The long-haired girl was dancing a sultry dance with a bright red flower bitten between her lips, a strand of hair dangling and swaying as she pinched the corner of her skirt while dancing.
"When you come to Dressrosa, there are two places you must check out: first, the duels in the arena, and second, the sizzling hot dances performed by the sexy girls on the street," a pirate said to Wude in the manner of a "senior".
Wude nodded in deep agreement while secretly flipping through the bounty posters.
