Gu Sheng protected Shi Ling, gathered treasures and allies, and advanced through the Sea Bottom Realm while facing rival factions and dangerous beasts. After helping reclaim the Demon Emperor’s Heart and escorting Yu Die, he returned toward the Jade Pool Holy Land with new treasures and left Wu Dewang bound behind him.

• The Jade Pool Saintess and Gu Sheng discovered Shi Ling inside a raw stone, sealed her with immortal energy, and fled with her after she called Gu Sheng her daddy.
• Gu Sheng and the Jade Pool Saintess explored the Primordial Beginning Ancient Mine, uncovered its secrets, and escaped as a Primordial Creature emerged.
• Gu Sheng joined the Young Prodigies to defeat the Black Robe Man, then advanced to the Sea Bottom Realm after cultivating with Su Ling.

Gu Sheng fought through wars, ancient ruins, and challenges while gaining powerful treasures and refining the Profound Heaven Sword. After rising into the Sun Realm and defeating several challengers, he entered the Sea of Wheels Secret Realm and formed a golden ocean.

• Gu Sheng and the Jade Pool Saintess awakened the Dream Butterfly Atlas together, while Shi Ling guided their cultivation and Wu Dewang grew resentful.
• Wu Dewang lured factions into ambushing Gu Sheng and the Jade Pool Saintess, but Gu Sheng defeated him, while Lin Tianhao battled the Demon Emperor at Ashoka Lake and was possessed by a mysterious force that absorbed the demon’s soul.
• Gu Sheng cultivated with Yu Die, helped defeat the Holy Demon Race on Crimson Cloud Continent, and was named Protector of the Nation Duke by Empress Yun Zishuang.
• Gu Sheng defeated Zhao Honglie, reunited with his family, and later strengthened his Primordial Saint Body before exploring the Primordial Forbidden Zone with Wu Dewang, Black Emperor, and his companions.

In the Primordial Forbidden Zone, he joined a factional expedition for divine medicine and confronted the elders’ demands as he searched for its location.

• Gu Sheng escaped Wei Dubu’s attacks, survived successive Heavenly Tribulations, and killed Wei Dubu before refining the Nine Revolutions Golden Elixir and Spirit Gathering Immortal Herb.
• Gu Sheng explored the Demon Emperor’s Tomb, obtained the Dao Scripture and a Golden Book page, passed the tomb’s trial, and acquired green bronze tied to the Desolate Pagoda.
• Gu Sheng settled in Qingshan, protected Old Man Jiang and Little Tingting from the Li family, and helped expose the family’s role in the deaths of Tingting’s parents.
• Gu Sheng refused Jiang Yifei’s invitation to join the Jiang family, evaded its pursuit, and entered Purple Sun Grotto-Heaven, where Elder Han captured him and tried to refine him into a pill.
• Gu Sheng killed Elder Han, cultivated with the stolen herbs and Bodhi Seed, and broke through to the Life Spring Realm before returning to Jade Cauldron Grotto-Heaven.
• Gu Sheng entered the Primordial Forbidden Zone with companions, survived its curse and beasts, and agreed to help the factions reach the Sacred Mountain in exchange for the right to kill Jiang Feng.
• Gu Sheng killed Jiang Feng, made the elders clear skeletons from the abyss, and demanded the release of Huang Miaoyin, Gu Xiaojiang, and the others before revealing the divine medicine’s location.
• Gu Sheng began sensing the divine medicine, but Jiang Hanzhong sent a puppet imprint rushing toward him.

Gu Sheng survived the Primordial Forbidden Zone, was drawn into the struggle over the Demon Emperor’s Heart, and became trapped with Ji Ziyue in the Bronze Immortal Palace. After escaping and reaching Tai Xuan Sect, Gu Sheng joined Clumsy Peak while Ji Ziyue entered Spirit Peak, where he gained the Spirit Spring Power and began learning to control it.

• Gu Sheng escaped the Primordial Forbidden Zone with Sacred Fruits, reached the Divine Bridge Realm, and defeated Han Yishui after reclaiming his stolen artifacts from Lingxu Grotto-Heaven.
• Wu Dewang led Gu Sheng into a trap at Xuanling Sect, where Yan Ruyu and Bai Yiyi revealed their plan to make him host the Demon Emperor’s Heart.
• Yan Ruyu’s clan opened Gu Sheng’s Sea of Bitterness and placed the Heart of the Great Emperor inside him, but the Green Copper Block protected him from its attempt to absorb his life essence.
• Ji Haoyue attacked Yan Ruyu’s demon clan, and Gu Sheng fled with Ji Ziyue before the pair fell into the Rootless Dark River and found the Bronze Immortal Palace.
• Gu Sheng and Ji Ziyue escaped the palace’s deadly Yin Yang Qi, rebuilt his shattered cauldron, and defeated Wu Zhiqi with the Mysterious Yellow Qi and Green Copper Block.
• Gu Sheng killed Ji Xia after she attacked them, and Ji Ziyue later traveled with him to Tai Xuan Sect, where they chose Clumsy Peak despite its poor cultivation conditions.
• Ji Ziyue passed the Nine-story Xuan Tower trial and moved to Spirit Peak, while Gu Sheng stayed at Clumsy Peak under Li Ruoyu’s guidance.
• Gu Sheng absorbed Spirit Spring Power during a clash with Ling Mu, then entered Li Ruoyu’s illusion and defeated a Five-Colored Green Ox to gain a Black Bow and arrows.
