• Wu Gui took control of the Thousand Poisons Sect under the Heavenly Fire General’s orders, while Gu Sheng mastered sword force and began training with Wen Mingyan.

After advancing through the Crimson Cloud Abyss and drawing closer to Su Ling and Linghu Qingwan, he went to Princess Yun Zishuang’s poetry gathering and was stopped at the gate.

• Gu Sheng defeated Lin Tianhao in a one-move contest, then joined his expedition to kill the Wind Fire Giant Bird and mine its spirit stone vein.
• Kang Tai attacked Gu Sheng and Lin Tianhao for their treasures, but the Vajra Demon Suppressing Bell and Gu Sheng’s Prajna Heart Sutra burned him away.
• Zhao Honglie trapped the factions with the Myriad Souls Banner, but Gu Sheng’s Demon Suppressing Golden Scroll and Vajra Demon Suppressing Bell shattered the banner and suppressed Zhao Honglie before the secret domain expelled them.

After entrusting allies with affairs at home and revealing himself to Su Xian, he left for Central Continent with Lin Tianhao, where their voyage began amid dangers at sea.

• Gu Sheng won the Crimson Cloud Continent Martial Tournament, earned the title Marquis of Victory, and repelled attacks from Elder Fengxing and Zhao Honglie.
• Gu Sheng awakened the Green Vine Demonic Soul, joined Liang’s campaign against Chu, and helped capture Prince Chu Xuan and seize the Dragon Pearl of Chu.

• Gu Sheng fought the Dao Annihilation Hall and the Heavenly Demon Sect, then traveled north with his companions and met Xing Lie near the Primordial Mine.
• A girl in purple revealed that Gu Sheng and Xing Lie were inheritors of the Primordial Saint Body and that their powers were linked to a key that could save the Human Emperor Realm.
• Gu Sheng reunited with the Big Black Dog, joined Xing Lie and their companions at the Ji Family banquet, and defeated the Shaking Light Saintess in a duel before releasing her for information.
