The Heavenly Profound Goddess identified him as her fiancé, but the Sect Master of the Supreme Immortal Sect moved to seize Gu Sheng’s Azure Heaven Saint Body.

• Gu Sheng defeated the six Holy Lands’ attacks and escaped with Tianlan Holy Land after the Heavenly Profound Goddess drove off the Holy Lords.
• Back at Tianlan Holy Land, Gu Sheng killed Mu Zhiyong, survived the Second Elder’s accusations, and later fought off Du Zhixin and Shou Xiangwen’s attack on Gu Yu.
• Gu Sheng trained at Divine Wind Thunder Mountain, broke through to the initial Earth Palace Realm, and returned as the Heavenly Profound Goddess searched for her fiancé.

Gu Sheng left Tianlan Holy Land to grow strong enough to reunite with Luo Xi, then entered Ten Thousand Ghosts Ridge and fought his way toward its divine sword. The arc ended with Gu Sheng ahead of the pursuing cultivators in the Blood River as ancient yin souls attacked them.

• Gu Sheng left Tianlan Holy Land to train in disguise, while Venerable King Qiankun and Immortal King Taiyi attacked the Holy Land and Gongsun Yue helped Gu Yu escape them.
• The Azure Dragon Immortal King drove off Qiankun and Taiyi, dissolved the Heavenly Profound Goddess’s marriage contract with the Azure Dragon Realm’s heir, and gave Tianlan Holy Land an azure scale for protection.
• Gu Sheng reached Blood Sand City, where he killed the Qing Sheng City Lord and Nie Shan after they tried to sacrifice captives, then traveled toward Ten Thousand Ghosts Ridge.
• Gu Sheng met Ling Xiao at the ridge and survived its Yin Energy Tide and sword-energy assault before the Tai Xu Divine Sword appeared and drew powerful cultivators into the ruins.
• Gu Sheng and Ling Xiao used the ridge’s formations and hazards to defeat and kill Luo Tian Sect pursuers, including Long Yi, Shen Hua, and Gong Xuefeng’s companions.
• Gong Xuefeng escaped Gu Sheng’s attack with a Void Talisman, then helped draw more pursuers toward Gu Sheng, who fled deeper into the ridge and jumped into the Blood River.

Gu Sheng and Ling Xiao escaped pursuit by entering Qinghe Holy Land under false identities, where they became Daoist Yong'an’s disciples and settled on Profound Nether Sacred Mountain. After killing Pan Zhuang’s group and the pursuers Ke Yucheng and Tang Zhiyuan, they sought a stronger cultivation site farther up the mountain.

• Gu Sheng awakened the Ancient Divine Sword at Ten Thousand Ghosts Ridge, killed Wang Xiujie and the remaining attackers, then escaped disguised with Ling Xiao as the holy lands began searching for him.
• Gu Sheng and Ling Xiao infiltrated Qinghe Holy Land’s recruitment, passed its trials, and earned places among the new disciples.
• Daoist Yong'an saw through their disguises, accepted Gu Sheng and Ling Xiao as his final disciples, and sent them to Profound Nether Sacred Mountain.
• Gu Sheng and Ling Xiao cultivated on the mountain as Ke Yucheng and Tang Zhiyuan plotted against them, then joined Pan Zhuang’s group in search of Saint Infant Grass.
• Pan Zhuang trapped Gu Sheng and Ling Xiao in a cave, but Gu Sheng killed the guarding Three-eyed Scaled Wolf and claimed the Saint Infant Grass.

Gu Sheng stole the Heavenly Fire Red Lotus Pearl, escaped Qinghe Holy Land, and killed Long Teng before traveling with Ling Xiao toward the Immortal Descent Realm. In Luoyun City, Gu Sheng helped Mu Feng and Mu Xi obtain the life-extending spirit herb, then faced Tie San after Young Master Qin caught up with them.

• Long Teng disrupted Gu Sheng’s cultivation in the hidden cave, forcing Gu Sheng and Ling Xiao to flee and seek shelter at Golden Crow Mountain.
• Gu Sheng broke through in Golden Crow Mountain, endured the depths of Burning Heaven Valley, and stole the Heavenly Fire Red Lotus Pearl from its source.
• Qinghe Holy Land searched for the thieves, while Gu Sheng revealed himself, killed his pursuers, and escaped with Ling Xiao as Heavenly Dao Curse disasters struck the holy lands.
• Gu Sheng and Ling Xiao defeated Long Teng and his allies, with Gu Sheng awakening the Taiji Seven Stars Sword’s Vessel Spirit and killing Long Teng.
