"Zehahahaha! Men, we've reached land!"

The ferocious pirate ship docked beside an unnamed island, and Blackbeard's group slowly disembarked. The island was exceptionally desolate. Towering trees ahead exuded a primitive aura, while all manner of beastly roars echoed endlessly from the jungle. As Blackbeard's group walked along the beach, they could vaguely make out a small town in the distance.

"All right, men! Come get 200,000 Beli each and go relax on the island! Laffitte, take 500,000 Beli and pick up some daily supplies while you're at it!" Teach handed everyone some spending money. They had been sailing for over ten days, and the supplies they had looted last time were nearly exhausted. They needed to restock properly this time!

"Captain, didn't we get a lot of supplies last time? How did we run out so quickly?" Fuckyou asked, looking puzzled.

"Hmph! You should ask Doc Q about that! When that guy was mixing poison last time, he accidentally let it leak into our supplies! More than half of them were wasted for nothing!" Teach said irritably. He was in charge of all the treasure on the ship, and anyone would be unhappy about suddenly taking out over a million Beli.

"Cough, cough! Don't worry too much about it, Captain! It's fate! Looks like those supplies weren't worth much anyway! They're gone, so they're gone. It's fine!" Teach entered a restaurant that looked fairly decent and, as always, ordered a Cherry Pie.

"Sir, your Cherry Pie! Enjoy!" The owner of the restaurant was a kindly middle-aged man with a bright smile constantly on his face.

"Thanks!" Teach looked at the Cherry Pie before him, which was pleasing both to the eye and the nose, and eagerly took a bite. The texture was excellent, and the flavor was truly superb!

"Oh! This Cherry Pie is delicious!" Teach dug in heartily. Cherry Pie with beer really hit the spot!

"Of course it is! I'm the best chef in this town!" The boss looked proud, clearly confident in his cooking skills!

"Zehahahaha! Boss, you seem to be in a good mood! Did something good happen?" With nothing better to do, Teach began chatting with the boss.

"This is your first time in our town, isn't it?" the boss asked confidently.

"Hm? How did you know? It really is my first time here!" Teach looked at the boss in confusion.

"That's because not long ago, our town was constantly harassed by creatures called 'Oli Gei'! Those creatures have lived in the forests of this island since long ago! Ever since I could remember, they would come out every few days to steal our crops. Sometimes, they even took young children away! Every resident hated them to the bone! But they were too powerful! Ordinary people like us simply couldn't defeat them!" As he said this, the boss's tone carried both helplessness and hatred.

"However, heaven watched over us. More than a month ago, a wanderer came to our town! He was tall and incredibly strong! After learning about our town's situation, he resolutely chose to hunt those 'Oli Gei' alone! Shockingly, he really did kill every last one of them by himself! Since then, our town has known an unprecedented peace!"

"Oh? He truly sounded like a righteous man!" Teach played the role of a listener, patiently hearing out the boss.

"Hey! Boss Buli! Look at what I hunted today!"

Just as Teach finished speaking, a vigorous voice rang out from the doorway. The next second, a tall man dragged a large fish inside.

"Hey, Rando! You went hunting again! What a huge fish!" Seeing the newcomer, the boss immediately stood and walked toward the entrance. Teach turned slightly and saw a powerfully built man around four meters tall entering. He held a massive Wolf Fang club in his left hand and dragged a fish roughly five meters long with his right. At that moment, he was proudly showing off his spoils to the boss.

"What do you think, Boss Buli? This big fish should feed us for quite a while, right?" said the man named Rando. Despite his rugged face, he wore the sunniest smile.

"Of course! Just wait there, I'll make you lunch right away! Also, you don't need to work so hard hunting every day anymore. As the hero of the whole town, everyone has filled my family's grain storehouse with food to repay you!"

"How could I do that? You need to make a living too, Boss! I can't stay at your place every day without doing any work!"

From their conversation, Teach naturally realized that this strong man before him was the town's hero. Yet his face gave Teach an oddly familiar feeling...

"Huh? This guest looks unfamiliar! You aren't from this town, are you?" Rando casually struck up a conversation with Teach, but Teach's next words made his face change drastically.

"You're a pirate, aren't you?"

The calm words struck Rando's ears like thunder exploding from a clear sky!

"Hey! What are you talking about? That's impossible! If you keep slandering the benefactor of our town, then please leave. My little establishment doesn't welcome you!" Seeing someone slander his town's hero, the boss shed his kindly image and angrily snapped at Teach.

"How did you know?" To the boss's surprise, Rando asked calmly, indirectly admitting what Teach had said.

"Your appearance reminds me of someone!" Teach said calmly as he looked at that familiar face.

"Who?" After hearing Teach's words, Rando suddenly rushed forward. He stared at Teach intently, seeking an answer—an answer he had searched for ten years!

"Zehahahaha! Your name is Rando, right? You look a lot like 'Blue Ogre' Dorry!" Seeing Rando's expression, Teach's guess was confirmed the next second.

"Sir, have you seen my father?" Rando suddenly burst into tears. "Ten years, a full ten years! I've finally gotten news of my father!"

"You're a Giant?" Teach looked at Rando in confusion. An adult Giant should be at least twelve meters tall, shouldn't he?

"Yes, I am! I understand what you're thinking. Actually, I have dwarfism!"
