Hero Saves the Beauty

The Gale drifted across the raging sea like a light leaf. Lin Feng stood at the bow with his hands behind his back, letting the sea breeze flutter his clothes.

Lin Feng gazed into the distance, his eyes deep and unfathomable, while scenes from his time aboard the Moby Dick kept replaying in his mind.

Drinking and laughing with old Whitebeard, sparring with Marco, joking around with Vista, and that fellow Ace...

At the thought of Ace, the corners of Lin Feng's lips unconsciously curled into a smile.

That silly boy was always so impulsive. He wondered how Ace was doing now.

"Ah, I hope he can defeat that treacherous fellow Blackbeard."

Lin Feng sighed, a trace of worry welling up in his heart.

"Still, with Ace's strength, there shouldn't be any problems, right?"

Lin Feng shook his head and cast those tangled thoughts aside.

A pirate ship flying a skull flag was madly pursuing a merchant ship with white sails.

Shells exploded around the merchant ship again and again, sending waves surging into the air. The vessel rocked precariously amid the bombardment, its situation extremely dire.

On the pirate ship, a burly, one-eyed pirate captain with a face full of coarse flesh stood at the bow, directing his men with a sinister grin.

He brandished the curved saber in his hand and roared, "Men, hit them hard! Blast that merchant ship into scraps!"

The pirates let out bursts of grotesque laughter and unleashed an even more frenzied barrage.

On the merchant ship, the people fled in terror, dodging the cannonballs. Cries and screams rang out together, making the deck resemble a living hell.

A golden-haired, blue-eyed girl tightly hugged the bundle in her arms. Her face was pale, and her eyes were filled with despair.

"Damn pirates! Is there really no one who can come and save us?"

The girl cried out in despair inwardly, tears streaming uncontrollably down her face.

"Oh? Looks like it's time for a heroic rescue of a beauty."

The corners of Lin Feng's lips lifted slightly, revealing an amused smile.

He suddenly hauled on the sail and adjusted course. The Gale shot toward the battlefield like an arrow loosed from a bow, moving at astonishing speed.

"Sun Breathing: Total Concentration: Constant!"

Lin Feng gave a low shout. The air around his body began to twist, and an invisible wave of air spread outward from him in all directions.

"Soru!"

Lin Feng's figure flickered and vanished from where he stood. The next instant, he appeared on the pirate ship's deck, moving as swiftly as a phantom.

"One Sword Style: Iai Slash!"

Lin Feng drew Frost Gale. A fierce blade flash swept through the air, carrying endless sharpness as it instantly slashed toward the surrounding pirates.

"Pfft! Pfft! Pfft!"

Before several pirates could react, they were severed at the waist, blood gushing out and dyeing the deck red.

"Ah!"

"Help!"

"There's an enemy!"

Screams rose one after another. Only then did the pirates react, staring in horror at Lin Feng, who had appeared out of nowhere.

"Who are you?!"

The one-eyed pirate captain was startled by the sudden turn of events. He looked at Lin Feng, who had appeared on the deck, and at several of his men who had fallen in an instant. A trace of shock flashed through his eyes.

"You dare meddle in the business of Barto 'One-Eye'? You must be tired of living!"

"One-Eye" Barto roared and charged at Lin Feng with his curved saber. The other pirates also raised their weapons and swarmed toward Lin Feng.

"Hmph. A bunch of small fry."

Lin Feng sneered. His figure flashed as he moved effortlessly through the pirates like a phantom.

Frost Gale swept through the air repeatedly, every slash precisely reaping a life, moving so quickly that it dazzled the eyes.

"Pfft!"

"Ah!"

"Pfft!"

"Help!"

Blood sprayed through the air, and severed limbs scattered across the deck, which instantly became a living hell.

The pirates screamed in terror and fled in all directions, utterly stripped of their former arrogance.

"Th-this... What kind of monster is this?!"

"He's terrifying!"

"Run!"

Some pirates were scared witless and jumped into the sea to escape, while others knelt directly on the deck and begged for mercy. The scene descended into chaos.

"One-Eye" Barto was also dumbstruck by Lin Feng's overwhelming strength. He swung his curved saber, but could not even touch the hem of Lin Feng's clothes.

"Too weak. What a waste of time."

Lin Feng shook his head, a trace of disappointment flashing in his eyes.

His figure flickered, and he instantly appeared in front of "One-Eye" Barto before kicking him in the chest.

The battle ended quickly. Aside from Lin Feng, not a single person remained standing on the pirate ship.

Lin Feng sheathed his sword and slowly walked over to "One-Eye" Barto, looking down at him from above.

"Wh-who are you?"

"One-Eye" Barto asked with a tremor, his eyes filled with fear. He never could have imagined that he would end up defeated by an unknown youngster.

"Me? I'm just a passing pirate."

Lin Feng answered indifferently, then stepped on "One-Eye" Barto's chest and knocked him unconscious.

"All done!"

Lin Feng clapped his hands and turned to leap back onto the Gale.

He raised the sails and steered toward the merchant ship.

The people aboard the merchant ship had witnessed everything, and every one of them was stunned.

They never could have imagined that someone would come to save them—and that their rescuer would be so powerful.

"We're saved!"

"We're saved!"

"Wonderful!"

The people cheered and wept tears of joy.

The girl also looked at Lin Feng excitedly, her eyes filled with gratitude and admiration.

"Thank you! Thank you for saving us!"

The girl walked up to Lin Feng and spoke excitedly.

"It was nothing."

Lin Feng smiled and looked at the girl before him, his heart stirring slightly.

The beauties in One Piece really are gorgeous.

The girl's long golden hair cascaded over her shoulders like a waterfall. It was braided into delicate plaits and tied with a pale-blue ribbon.

Her azure eyes were clear and bright, as if they could see straight into people's hearts. Her skin was as fair as snow, her features exquisite and well-defined, her nose tall, and her lips rosy. A gentle smile always lingered at the corners of her mouth.

She was tall and slender, with an elegant, noble bearing. Around her neck hung a necklace set with an emerald

"Are you all right?"

Lin Feng asked with concern.

"I'm fine. Thank you."

Lilith shook her head, a gentle smile appearing on her face.

"What's your name?"

Lin Feng asked.

"My name is Alice D. Lilith. You can call me Lilith."

On the merchant ship's deck, the girl spoke, her voice torn into fragments by the sea wind.

"Lilith. That's a beautiful name."

Lin Feng replied, his heart stirring. Is she from the D Family?

"And you? What's your name?"

Lilith asked.

"My name is Lin Feng. I'm a pirate."

Lin Feng answered.

"A pirate?" Lilith froze when she heard that. A complicated emotion flashed through her azure eyes as she instinctively took half a step back, wariness and resistance showing in her gaze.

"What, do you hate pirates?" Lin Feng keenly caught Lilith's reaction. Raising an eyebrow, he asked with interest.

"I..." Lilith parted her lips, seemingly wanting to say something, but ultimately said nothing.

The girl pressed her lips tightly together, her eyes flickering as though she were thinking about something.

Seeing Lilith's reaction, Lin Feng understood.

It seemed that this young noble lady did not have a very good impression of pirates. But that made sense. After all, in most people's eyes, pirates were synonymous with burning, killing, looting, and every other kind of evil.

"You saved me. No matter what your identity is, you're my benefactor." After a while, Lilith finally spoke. Her voice was soft, but her tone was serious. "So please, allow me to properly thank you."

"There's no need to thank me. I only happened to lend a hand." Lin Feng waved dismissively.

"How could I not?" Lilith insisted. "You saved all our lives. That's an enormous kindness, and I must repay you!"

"Forget about repaying me. I didn't save you because I wanted anything from you." Lin Feng spoke.

"If you really want to thank me, then buy me a meal. I happen to be hungry."

"All right! Then please come with me." Lilith smiled when she heard that, gestured for Lin Feng to follow, and turned toward the cabin.

Lin Feng smiled and followed Lilith into the cabin.
