Lin Feng fell backward, sinking into the soft bed. He groaned in comfort. This trip to Alabasta had been rough, absolutely exhausting.

Lin Feng muttered as the events of the past few days flashed through his mind like a movie, finally stopping at the scene where he had clashed head-on with that hawk-man, Buvis.

"Tch, that guy's wings were seriously tough."

Saiyan Bloodline. Just hearing the name got his blood pumping.

Lin Feng silently called out in his mind. What concerned him most now was Advanced Armament Haki. He had to get it as soon as possible.

A flash of blue light appeared, and the shop page popped up. It was still filled with the same dazzling variety of goods, enough to make anyone's eyes swim.

Lin Feng rapidly scrolled with his finger, going straight to the Haki upgrade section. His eyes locked onto the price behind Conqueror's Haki LV4.

"This is robbery."

Lin Feng could not help muttering under his breath. He had known Conqueror's Haki would not be cheap, but the price still made his heart ache.

However, after thinking about it, Conqueror's Haki represented the qualities of a king—a rare treasure found in one person among a million.

It gave someone the potential to shake the world. Thinking of it that way, one million... did not seem completely unacceptable. After all, it was the standard equipment of a true powerhouse.

He continued looking down. Armament Haki and Observation Haki both required 200,000 Slash Points to upgrade from LV6 to LV7. Going from LV5 to LV6 cost 100,000. It had doubled outright?

"It's been a long time since I've sweated this freely."

Lin Feng tugged at his collar and simply took off his shirt, revealing his lean, muscular upper body. His bronze-colored skin and smooth, well-defined muscles were brimming with power.

He walked to the center of the training room and slowly drew Demon God. The blade reflected a cold gleam beneath the lights, like a venomous snake lying in wait. "Old friend, it's time to get moving."

Lin Feng gently stroked the blade as though comforting an old friend. His eyes were filled with trust and understanding. "Let's warm up with ten thousand swings."

"Ha!" With a low shout, he planted both feet firmly. Power surged from his waist as Demon God tore through the air again and again, swift as lightning and thunderous as a crashing storm.

One slash, two slashes, three slashes...

Sweat slid down his cheeks and dripped onto the floor with soft pats, like war drums beating against his heart.

Ten slashes, a hundred, a thousand...

Lin Feng's movements grew faster and faster, and the blade light became denser. In the end, all that could be seen was a blur of sword shadows, like an impenetrable net enveloping his entire body.

"Huff..." Lin Feng let out a long breath as he walked out of the Time-Space Training Room. Heat steamed from his body, making him look as though he had just been pulled from a steamer. He raised a hand and wiped the sweat from his forehead. It was sticky and carried a salty tang.

"It feels great, but it's exhausting too." He grinned, revealing a row of white teeth.

Over these three days, Lin Feng had practically declared war on himself. Aside from eating and sleeping, he had spent all his time in the training room, becoming even more ascetic than a monk. Still, the gains had been substantial.

"System, open panel."

Lin Feng silently called out. A watery-blue light screen flashed into existence, with rows of data neatly arranged across it.

He closed the panel and stretched deeply. His bones crackled like beans frying in a pan.

"Sky Island..." Lin Feng gazed out the window, his eyes filled with anticipation and a trace of eager excitement.

Sky Island. It was a legendary place, a kingdom above the clouds. Just thinking about it felt thrilling.
