As he spoke, he called out. A soldier dressed in fine attire approached; he was Swain's personal guard.
Seeing this, the Red Earl lowered his head and slipped into the darkness, vanishing without a trace.
"Go tell Luo to spread the word. Those who have committed offenses are to turn themselves in to him. Otherwise, the beheadings will continue over the next few days, and their families will not be spared either."
