Akainu's Death?

Swain did not describe Akainu's fate as death, but as sacrifice, which was enough to show his recognition of Akainu's ideals.

The trident pinned him firmly in place. The magma covering Akainu's body completely vanished, leaving only flesh and blood.

"H-How... how is this possible?" Akainu said in a trembling voice.

Blood spilled from his mouth, but unwilling to let others see him in such a miserable state, he hurriedly covered it with both hands.

The blood in his mouth trickled down his arms.

Drip. Drip!

This was the first time Akainu had faced death from so close. He was not afraid; he merely found it strange.

That strangeness came from his own strength.
