Reinforcements

Akainu lowered his head and said no more.

The battle between Swain and Akainu was over.

Kizaru finally shook off the White Tiger. He rose into the air and saw Akainu kneeling in a pool of blood, his body drenched in it. His expression turned graver than ever.

He formed a sign with his hands and shouted angrily, "Eight-Foot Jade Flower Arrow!"

Whizz, whizz, whizz!

Thousands of arrows of light filled the sky, all aimed at Swain.

"Go!"

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!

Sensing the danger behind him, Swain spun around at once.

"Sea God's Arrow!"

He drew back his arm as if pulling a bowstring. A blue bow appeared in his hands, glowing faintly.

Whoosh!

A blue arrow shot forth, then split into ten, a hundred, a thousand arrows!

Bang, bang, bang...!

Kizaru was growing frustrated. These attacks could barely hurt Swain.

He glanced toward the distant ship and thought, Are those two old bastards still not going to make a move!?

Two of the Five Elders had come this time: Saint Saturn and Saint Mars.

With the Radiant Star Formation, they could teleport. Sending just one of them would have been enough to bring all five over.

But sending two showed how seriously they took Swain.

"Sakazuki isn't dead yet," Saint Mars said.

He was especially sensitive to death and could still sense life in Akainu.

"We should step in," Saint Saturn said, rising to his feet.

Akainu's defeat had caught him off guard. In their eyes, he had never been a man who acted so rashly.

He had only his own weakness to blame. They had to save him, though, or those old men in the Marines would never let them hear the end of it.

They might even threaten to resign.

Especially Sengoku and Garp.
