Upon entering the depths underground, the place was as bright and open as the outside world, leaving them in awe.
Swain saw no lights, flames, or any other sources of illumination here. If someone had just arrived from the surface, they might not even realize they had entered another place.
It seemed to be an independent world of its own, completely unlike the darkness and confinement outside.
Lush forests still stood here, with tall, flourishing trees whose branches and leaves intertwined into a green canopy.
There were ponds as well, their water crystal clear and shimmering, reflecting the surrounding scenery.
Most surprising of all, they could actually feel the wind here. A gentle breeze brushed across their faces, bringing a faint chill that made them feel exceptionally comfortable.
"What a strange place." Even Bullet, with all his experience, had never seen anything like it.
It was somewhat like a hidden paradise, tranquil and peaceful, yet filled with an air of mystery.
They did their best to conceal their presence as they moved in. Just beyond the entrance lay a vivid green meadow. Walking across it felt as though the grass was tickling them, its soft blades gently brushing against their skin with a strange sensation.
The wind blew through the grass with a soft rustling sound, making the place feel especially pleasant.
"What a nice place. But why would something like this exist underground?" Swain thought.
But when he remembered that the Governing Hall was on the Red Line, the tallest natural mountain range in the entire pirate world, an idea suddenly came to him, and he voiced it to Bullet.
"Could this be another world?"
"Heh! How could that be?" Bullet sneered, his eyes full of disdain.
He clearly did not believe Swain's guess.
But Swain did not care
