Kuina's expression turned serious as well, and she tightened her grip on her sword.
Watching several droplets of water fly at her with sharp killing intent, Kuina moved with incredible speed, cutting down each droplet one by one.
"How is that possible? How can your swordsmanship be so fast?!"
The Fish-man cried out in alarm. So he had underestimated her—but even so, this woman could not harm him in the slightest!
Kuina silently observed the Fish-man, searching for his weakness. The exposed skin on his body was simply too hard; her sword could not leave a mark on him.
"Haha, what, are you scared? Even if you can block my attacks, you can't hurt me. If you kneel and apologize now, I'll put in a good word for you with Brother Arlong!"
Kuina did not get angry at those words, but Moyun was somewhat enraged.
Were his crew members people others could just bully whenever they pleased?
But Fish-man skin truly was their best defensive weapon. Moyun was prepared to step in himself.
"Captain, I said I could handle things here."
Kuina did not turn around, but Moyun knew that her gaze had to be exceptionally resolute right now. Perhaps he should let her gain more experience.
"I understand. Take your time dealing with him."
Moyun turned his head, directing his gaze at Captain Nezumi.
"Captain, where did you get so much Beli? Don't tell me you stole it."
"What nonsense are you talking about?!"
Captain Nezumi roared in fury and embarrassment.
"You've received quite a lot of money from Arlong over the years, but he probably wouldn't give you this much all at once. If I'm not mistaken, this should be Nami's money."
Even Captain Nezumi froze upon hearing that.
This silver-haired boy actually knew Nami. Could he be the helper Nami had called for?
It seemed Nami had left herself a backup plan. Once he had dealt with this brat, he would report it to Arlong. That woman Nami truly could not be trusted completely.
As Captain Nezumi thought, he stroked his little mustache.
"Nami is a thief. This money was all stolen, so what's wrong with me, a Marine, confiscating stolen goods? Stop twisting right and wrong here."
"I see. Fine, then let's talk about something else—like how you, as a Marine, colluded with pirates to oppress the people, burning, killing, and plundering throughout the villages."
"Don't you dare slander me!"
Captain Nezumi's face flashed with panic, but he quickly composed himself. Those were mere accusations without proof. What evidence could this brat possibly have?
What he did not know was that Moyun possessed a god's-eye view. Even without evidence, Moyun could teach anyone he wanted a lesson.
Especially when the person before him was Saint Charlos's subordinate—then he was even more excited!
"What he said is the truth!"
"That's right! We've had enough! What difference is there between you Marines and pirates?!"
Before Moyun could say anything, the people around them had already begun shouting.
One either perished in silence or erupted in silence.
"Are you all trying to rebel?!"
Captain Nezumi shouted, but it did not stop the people around him from speaking.
In a fit of rage, he pulled a gun from his waist and aimed it at the man shouting the loudest at the front.
"Hey, I'm talking to you. Who told you to pull out a gun?"
Moyun looked at Captain Nezumi with disdain. He moved with astonishing speed, appearing before Captain Nezumi and knocking him to the ground with one punch before anyone could react.
"Captain!"
Seeing their captain knocked down with a single punch, the surrounding Marines hurriedly pointed their guns at Moyun.
"You actually attacked a Marine!"
"Attacked?"
Moyun considered it for a moment. What he had done did not count as an attack.
But these Marines were quite the eyesore. He might as well deal with them first.
Moyun extended his left hand toward the Marines, and a Black Hole appeared on the ground. Even the air around it twisted.
The Black Hole grew larger and larger, gradually spreading beneath the Marines' feet.
"What is this thing?!"
The Marines tried to run, but it was already too late. One after another, they vanished.
Moyun curled his lips, looking quite satisfied. After several months of training, the range at which he could twist space had grown significantly. The Marines who had just disappeared had all been sent to the warship.
They were currently at the center of the island, while the warship was at its edge.
This showed just how much the range had increased.
Still, it needed further improvement. Eventually, he wanted to accurately create a Black Hole beneath each individual's feet, rather than one massive Black Hole covering a wide area.
A thought had suddenly occurred to him just now. If he continued developing the Chaos Fruit, could he eventually create a Chaos Space, like Brulee's Mirror World?
"Interesting. I'll figure it out slowly."
Today, he had at least found a direction to explore. But he also needed to strengthen his physical skills; he could not rely too heavily on his Devil Fruit.
While Moyun was thinking, Captain Nezumi had already begun preparing to flee in secret.
If he could not beat this little boy, could he not at least run away?
What kind of Devil Fruit ability was this? It had made so many of his subordinates disappear without a trace.
"Where do you think you're running off to?"
In a flash, Moyun appeared beside Captain Nezumi. He grabbed his collar with both hands and threw him over his shoulder, slamming him to the ground.
"You! Cough, cough!"
Who could have imagined that this boy, who barely reached an adult's chest, possessed such tremendous strength—and such a terrifying ability? His eyes were now filled with fear as he looked at Moyun.
Moyun slowly crouched down, staring at him with a dark gaze. His voice was so quiet that only the two of them could hear it.
"I know who you work for. Isn't it that useless Saint Charlos?"
"How dare you address that lord like that?! No, how could you possibly know?!"
Captain Nezumi had always believed he had concealed things well, but anyone determined enough to investigate could uncover it.
That was also why Arlong had always been so polite to him.
"Why wouldn't I know? You'd best not come to this island again. Go back and tell Saint Charlos that I, Moyun, will dig out every last bit of his influence in the Grand Line, piece by piece!"
"Do you even know what you're saying?!"
That was a Celestial Dragon—someone who could casually command the Navy's three Admirals.
Captain Nezumi merely thought this man was overestimating himself and trying to provoke a Celestial Dragon. Even if Moyun did not tell him to, he would report every detail to that lord later!
This boy could just wait for a Navy Admiral to hunt him down!
Moyun did not even need to guess what this rat was thinking.
How could a Navy Admiral possibly be qualified to interfere in matters between Celestial Dragons? That was the one thing Moyun found useful about being a Celestial Dragon.
