Moyun brought Kuina back to the ship.
"We seem to be in a bit of trouble, so be extra careful from now on."
"What's wrong, what happened?"
Olvia leisurely took a sip of tea, looking completely at ease.
Hisoka sat quietly to the side, unusually without making a fuss.
For a split second, Moyun almost thought Robin and Chopper were sitting right in front of him.
"Those bounty hunters just now weren't sent by the people I expected, so it looks like we've got trouble."
"So that's how it is."
Olvia nodded, showing not a trace of panic.
She was already long used to the days of being hunted, and to be honest, she was actually somewhat unaccustomed to how peaceful things had been lately.
"How are we getting across, by relying on the current?"
Instead of whether anyone was targeting them, Olvia was much more concerned about how they would get past this Reverse Mountain.
You had to know that plenty of pirates had crashed and burned right here.
Moyun looked up at Reverse Mountain, then glanced down at the palm of his hand.
He had a plan in mind, though he wasn't sure if he should voice it.
"Do you have faith in me?"
"Don't tell me you're planning to use your own ability?"
Olvia finally showed a hint of nervousness at that.
"You know that pirates with this kind of spatial ability probably do exist, but not a single person has ever been able to cross this way, because this mountain is simply too tall and too massive.
This was a mountain on the Red Line, after all, so you could imagine just how vast its area was.
Last time at Sea Root Island, Moyun's ability was barely enough to teleport half an island.
"How can we know if we don't try?"
Moyun clenched his fists, a flash of determination gleaming in his eyes.
He had been training every single day lately, and now it was time to put the results to the test.
"Ah well, seeing as you're so confident, I'll trust you. Anyway, I'm someone who has already died once, I have nothing left to be afraid of."
Olvia sighed, yet she looked at Moyun with complete trust.
Kuina nodded as well; she had set out to go on adventures with Moyun in the first place, and she would support whatever decision he made.
As for Hisoka, he had no way out even if he disagreed.
"Alright, then just leave it to me."
Moyun stood in the center of the ship, and the small black sphere in his palm gradually expanded until it enveloped the entire vessel.
"Are you ready? We're setting off!"
With a loud bang, the ship abruptly vanished, leaving the sea surface just as calm and peaceful as before, as if nothing had ever appeared.
On the other side of Reverse Mountain, a whale had just poked its head out of the water when it was suddenly struck by a large ship.
Huge splashes erupted across the previously calm sea.
"Oh my god, I did it! As expected of me, I'm way too awesome!"
The people on board snapped back to their senses, and after steadying themselves, Moyun let out a cheer.
This place should be Twin Capes, and Laboon and that old man were both right here.
"I never expected you to actually pull it off. I think we must be the very first ones among so many people to cross over this easily."
This also went to show that Moyun had grown stronger once again.
The distance he could teleport in the future would probably become even greater.
There was a good chance he could teleport directly from one island to another.
"I knew it. I wonder if I'll be able to teleport straight to Laugh Tale in the future."
Moyun had no idea how things would turn out, but it surely wouldn't be that simple.
Never mind, he would deal with future matters when they arrived.
"What on earth is wrong with you people!"
A voice suddenly rang out, and Moyun curved the corners of his lips—that old geezer was showing up right now.
Crocus had been leisurely reading the newspaper inside Laboon's belly when he suddenly felt a violent, earth-shattering shock.
He thought Laboon had started ramming into the walls of the Red Line again.
But the timing was all wrong; wasn't he supposed to wait a while longer before starting that?
Could it be that Laboon had started early?
When Crocus emerged from Laboon's belly, he didn't find any fresh wounds on Laboon's forehead, but instead spotted a huge bump on top of someone's head.
"Are you pirates who just dropped down from above?"
Crocus looked at them suspiciously.
If they had come down from the top, they should have crashed straight into Laboon's belly.
How could they have hit him on the head with a ship instead?
Moyun docked the ship at Twin Capes and stepped ashore with the three of them and the dog.
"Hello, my name is Moyun. Might I ask who you are?"
How annoying, having to ask for a name when he already knew it.
Crocus's eyes widened as he stared intently at Moyun for a good while before suddenly squatting down.
"This is my first time seeing pirates who bring a dog along."
Naturally, he completely ignored Moyun's words; petting a dog was much more important to him.
Hisoka stared at Moyun in astonishment, but just when he thought Moyun was about to get angry, Moyun merely smiled.
He knew what kind of personality Crocus had.
He was the guy who had driven Zoro and Sanji up the wall in the Pirate King's crew.
"This dog's name is ShSh, and he's a—"
Before Moyun could finish speaking, Crocus blurted out, "My name is Crocus, I'm the keeper of this Twin Capes lighthouse, and I'm 74 years old this year."
Damn it, why did he still feel so mad!
Moyun closed his eyes and forcefully suppressed his temper.
This old man really knew how to make people angry with zero effort!
"What's with the wounds on that whale's forehead?"
As Kuina stepped off the ship, she caught sight of the portion of the whale's head exposed above the water, which was densely covered in injuries.
What's more, there were plenty of old scars among them.
"That whale is named Laboon, and it was left behind by a pirate crew from the past."
Crocus stood up, walked over to the shore, and stood with his hands behind his back, quietly gazing at Laboon.
"That pirate crew made a promise with it to come back and pick it up later, but all these years have passed and they've never returned."
Otherwise, he wouldn't have become the ship doctor on the Pirate King's ship.
He had gone out to sea specifically to search for the Rumbar Pirates, but by the time he returned, he still hadn't found them.
They must have met with a grim fate.
Crocus had also told Laboon about this matter many times, but Laboon refused to accept it, and later began relentlessly ramming that wall because it wanted to get across.
"I see. Being left behind must feel awful."
Olvia thought of something, and her voice suddenly trailed off into silence.
Moyun also sighed; when he saw Laboon's wounds with his own eyes, he found them truly shocking to the core.
Anyone who heard about Laboon's deep attachment would be moved by it.
Even so, Luffy and the others should be coming over to rescue Laboon soon enough.
"So that's how it is."
Moyun stretched lazily. Once the Log Pose finished storing its magnetic force here, they would set off immediately.
The very first island they would head to from here was Whiskey Peak.
While the few of them were talking, two figures suddenly appeared in the water, slipping into a hidden corner to secretly eavesdrop on their conversation.
