But Wong's talk of "the end of the world" told Zhang Yang that a Herald of Galactus had to be a formidable enemy.
While they were still in a panic, The Ancient One walked in.
She appeared to be looking for Zhang Yang, and her expression was grim.
"My apprentice," The Ancient One called to him.
Her voice was far more serious than it had ever been when she addressed him before.
"Master, what's wrong?" Zhang Yang asked, looking at her.
His expression did not change.
The Ancient One knew Zhang Yang did not understand what was happening.
After all, he still knew little about the Multiverse or even the Mage World.
He had been at Kamar-Taj for only a month before becoming a Genius Mage, and he had spent that entire month studying magic like a man possessed.
He had hardly had time to learn about any of this.
A Herald of Galactus was not something Zhang Yang should have needed to know about yet.
Nor had The Ancient One ever imagined that the Five Creator Gods would notice Zhang Yang so soon, much less decide to deal with him.
Was it because he had learned from the Book of the Vishanti?
That was the only explanation The Ancient One could think of. Otherwise, she had no way to explain
