She silently sighed to herself.
It seemed quite a lot had happened recently.
Kamar-Taj truly was in chaos.
"What happened?" The Ancient One asked Mordo calmly.
At that moment, what lingered in The Ancient One's mind was still what Eternity had said before. After all, those words had been far too serious.
"Sorcerer Supreme, Kamar-Taj received a letter. It seems to be from S.H.I.E.L.D.," Mordo said to The Ancient One with a grave expression after hearing her question.
"S.H.I.E.L.D.?"
The Ancient One murmured the name, though for some reason, she still seemed rather absentminded.
"Yes, Master. It was a warning letter. S.H.I.E.L.D. hopes we will cooperate with them. If we refuse, S.H.I.E.L.D. may very well take action," Mordo told The Ancient One.
The reason Mordo looked so grave
was not because S.H.I.E.L.D. was particularly formidable.
They were merely a group of ordinary agents. No matter how strong they were, they only possessed superpowers.
To be honest,
any few mages from Kamar-Taj could easily crush them.
So Mordo's grave expression was not because S.H.I.E.L.D. was difficult to deal with.
More likely, it was because S.H.I.E.L.D. was troublesome.
Kamar-Taj was a hidden organization on Earth.
It remained hidden because the mages within Kamar-Taj truly were quite powerful.
Moreover,
S.H.I.E.L.D. was a high-level institution.
If Kamar-Taj came into conflict with such an institution,
it was hard to imagine what methods they would use next.
That was why Mordo was so hesitant.
However, although Mordo seemed to think this matter was rather difficult, The Ancient One did not seem to take it to heart at all.
She had not even listened seriously. Once Mordo finished speaking, The Ancient One said, "Let them do as they please."
Mordo: "???"
Let them do as they pleased?
Mordo froze, then turned to look at Wong beside him
