At the Beach

"Wah... What... is this?"

Qian Huanyue's voice trembled slightly as she cautiously peered into the shop before her.

Then she pursed her lips, looking as though she had pondered for a moment before resigning herself to her fate, and began tracing circles on Shiori's palm with her fingertip... in short, she would not stop until the other girl was practically writhing with tickles.

"Ngh! Hu-, Huanyue?" Shiori's face flushed crimson as she let out a slightly warped voice.

She instinctively tried to pull her hand back, but Huanyue grabbed it and refused to let go, leaving her entire posture unnatural.

"If I remember correctly—" Huanyue narrowed her eyes, her tone carrying a slightly dangerous edge, "we came out to have fun, didn't we?"

Qian Huanyue pointed at the massage parlor in front of them, her eyes full of question marks.

"I-It was Kotori's idea, she said something about relieving fatigue." Shiori's voice trembled slightly too, sounding completely lacking in confidence.

"Even on a date, this shouldn't be an activity left for step o.ne." Qian Huanyue finally regained her composure and made a slight deadpan remark. "Though we can save this for the very last, a little relaxation would actually be nice."

"You're right, Huanyue." Shiori felt the same way, her face flushing as she pressed her earpiece to communicate once more with the personnel inside Fraxinus.

Not long after—

"A seaside hotel, how about this one?" Shiori pointed at a set of coordinates on her phone screen.

Huanyue leaned over to take a look.

Azure blue seawater, white sandy beaches, and hotel buildings staggered in an orderly fashion.

"Mm, I see. Then let's go take a look first." Huanyue nodded.

She pulled Shiori's hand and activated her Angel—a flash of light swept past, and the two vanished on the spot.
