After Huanyue confessed her love, she used Zafkiel to send Shiori back in time and asked her to save the version of Huanyue who had not suffered. Shiori woke in the past and reunited with Huanyue, who seemed to recognize what she had endured and welcomed her back.

• Huanyue told Shiori she loved her but could not go on, and said she rejected a world where Qian Huanyue alone was happy.
• Huanyue used Zafkiel’s Vav to send Shiori’s consciousness far into the past, asking her to save the Huanyue who had not gone through their ordeal.
• Shiori woke in tears and was relieved to find everyone still alive and present.
• Shiori found Huanyue and embraced her, crying until Huanyue soothed her with Featherheal Sovereign.

Shiori tried to awaken a power beyond her Healing Flame while Huanyue attacked her, believing she needed to make Shiori strong enough to escape danger. Eyepatch Kurumi interrupted Huanyue and urged her to help fight Phantom Beast Bandersnatches, leaving Shiori’s attempt unresolved.

• Huanyue told Shiori to claim her own wishes and desires so she could use a power other than Healing Flame.
• Eyepatch Kurumi appeared and told Huanyue to stop pushing Shiori and get some rest.
• Huanyue explained that she wanted to set right the changes she had caused, while Eyepatch Kurumi grew concerned that she was getting carried away.
• Two Phantom Beast Bandersnatches appeared, and Huanyue beheaded one before spotting five more.

After a miserable night and pillow-fight defeat, Ellen was sent to investigate the lost signal from a Phantom Beast and Spirit activity. She arrived to find Huanyue guarding Eyepatch Kurumi, and Huanyue confronted her as Ellen requested Pendragon.

• Ellen woke to an operator's report that DD-007 [Phantom Beast: Bandersnatch] had lost contact and multiple Spirit fluctuations had appeared nearby.
• Huanyue stood atop the wreckage of Bandersnatch and realized Shiori was missing, while Eyepatch Kurumi secretly pointed toward Shiori's shadow.
• Huanyue pressed Eyepatch Kurumi for Shiori's whereabouts, then used a tearful act before noticing Ellen's approach.
• Ellen appeared on the canopy and requested Pendragon, and Huanyue invoked [Seraph of Thousand Blades] to shield Eyepatch Kurumi.
• Huanyue called out Ellen as the world's number one wizard, leaving Ellen frightened of facing Qian Huanyue again.

Kurumi dragged Shiori into the shadows to keep her safe while the Seraph of Thousand Blades attacked, and the Kurumi Clones warned her about Huanyue’s drunken behavior. Shiori asked to return to the dormitory, but Bandage Kurumi made her wrap her hands in bandages as a test.

• Kurumi’s shadow arms seized Shiori and dragged her away from the Seraph of Thousand Blades.
• Shiori found herself surrounded by Kurumi Clones, who refused to let her leave and explained that Huanyue must not drink alcohol.
• The Kurumi Clones shared stories about Huanyue’s drunken antics and tendency to overeat.
• Shiori asked Kurumi to send her back to the dormitory, and Bandage Kurumi said she had to fulfill a request first.

Shiori Itsuka sought Reine’s help while dressed in an embarrassing chuunibyou outfit chosen by the Kurumi clones, hoping to reach Huanyue. The Yamai sisters joined her, turning their rivalry into a competition to see who could help her more.

• Sweet Loli Kurumi and the other Kurumis dressed Shiori in an elaborate outfit and sent her out, suggesting it might stir Huanyue’s memories.

Huanyue subdued Ellen and then confronted Eyepatch Kurumi, who had been disguising her anger. Huanyue explained that she was furious with Shiori because the girl had once died, and Kurumi wondered whether that experience had created Huanyue’s second Angel, Featherheal Sovereign.

• Ellen reflected on how outmatched she was and saluted Huanyue rather than continue fighting.
• Huanyue bound Ellen with Seraph of Thousand Blades and knocked her unconscious.
• Huanyue told Eyepatch Kurumi that she could see through her act and discussed Shiori’s whereabouts.

Huanyue explained to Eyepatch Kurumi that her current self was one of several shallow consciousnesses, all still part of Huanyue, and that she emerged when the surface self was overwhelmed. The Yamai sisters and Shiori Itsuka arrived, and Huanyue singled out Shiori as she prepared to train her.

• Huanyue told Eyepatch Kurumi that she was a part of Huanyue who appeared under particular emotional pressures, and that there were several shallow consciousnesses like her.
• Huanyue insisted that every consciousness was still Huanyue and explained that she had adjusted herself to cope with coming to another world and her accumulated negative emotions.
• Eyepatch Kurumi teased Huanyue for being tsundere, making Huanyue blush and pound her chest in embarrassment.
• The Yamai sisters arrived with Shiori Itsuka, whose bandaged, decorated appearance startled Huanyue.

Shiori protected Huanyue from a massive magical blast by awakening the power of the Healing Flame and carrying them into the sky. The next morning, Huanyue had forgotten the night’s events, while Kaguya and Yuzuru’s reenactment left her horrified.

• Huanyue revealed she was still angry with Shiori and put herself in danger as a magical blast descended toward them.
• Shiori awakened the Healing Flame, shielded Huanyue, and carried her above 5,000 meters, where Huanyue explained the blast could harm only her.
• Huanyue gave Shiori a spiritual barrier and helped her summon the Seraph of Thousand Blades before they flew off together.
• The next morning, Kaguya and Yuzuru argued over who had contributed more to bringing down a warship, then reenacted the previous night for Huanyue, who had no memory of it.
• Huanyue asked Kurumi for a planet without living creatures, while Rinne felt relieved that Huanyue and Shiori were safe and hoped Huanyue might remember her.

Westcott prepared to begin the operation centered on Material A while Artemisia confronted Nia and [General]. Nia used Ratziel to fight off the magicians, and [General] faced Artemisia in a fierce battle.

• Westcott revealed that Ellen had been captured and ordered the operation involving Material A, Sister, to begin.
• Nia anticipated the magicians’ attack and used Future Record to destroy Phantom Beast’s machines.
• Artemisia attacked Nia with Arondight, and [General] appeared to fight beside her.
• Nia summoned copies and cleared minor enemies while [General] battled Artemisia.
• Artemisia’s attacks drove [General] backward, but [General] recovered and faced her again.

Origami Tobiichi removed the hidden computer components from her body and fought a Phantom Beast without a Realizer, but Kurumi Tokisaki stopped her and shot her. Origami woke unharmed in the morning with Huanyue and Shiori, who explained that a Spirit had healed her.

• Origami woke after being transported to her room, removed the concealed computer components, and headed back out while her classmates slept.
• Origami used the terrain and her physical strength to destroy a flying Phantom Beast, injuring her left arm and straining her left leg.
• Kurumi Tokisaki appeared, spoke with Origami, and shot her, sending her world into darkness as an ancient bell sounded.
• Origami woke the next morning with no injuries and found Huanyue apologizing beside her bed.
• Shiori brought breakfast made with Rinne, and Huanyue told Origami that a Spirit had healed her.

Shiori confronted Huanyue about risking her safety, and Huanyue revealed that she had known Shiori and her future before they met. Shiori accepted Huanyue’s reasons and asked her to value herself more, leaving them teasing each other as they walked.

• Shiori told Huanyue that she was upset by how little Huanyue seemed to value her own safety and feared what might have happened if Shiori had failed.
• Huanyue took Shiori’s hand, assured her that she would have succeeded, and created a spiritual barrier to keep their conversation private.
• Huanyue teased Shiori about her old chuunibyou videos, and Shiori offered to show her the clothes she had worn back then instead.
• Huanyue revealed that she had known Shiori and her familiar surroundings before they met, and that Shiori was supposed to awaken an Angel.

Ellen woke imprisoned and confronted Woodman, whom she condemned for betraying their old oath. Aboard Fraxinus, Shiori questioned whether sealing Spirits was always best, and Reine warned that Spirits with Spiritual Power remained targets for DEM, leaving Shiori uncertain.

• Ellen woke restrained without her Realizer and recognized Woodman, who had come into the monitored room.
• Ellen accused Woodman of abandoning their revenge oath and betraying her, while he apologized for choosing the Spirits' side.
• On Fraxinus, Kotori urged Shiori to build affection with the Yamai sisters, but Shiori became distracted watching Huanyue.
• Shiori asked Kotori whether sealing Spirits was necessarily the best outcome, citing Huanyue, Kurumi, and Nia as Spirits who did not seem to lose control.
• Reine agreed that Shiori's doubts were understandable but warned that DEM targeted Spirits with Spiritual Power, and not every Spirit could resist them like Qian Huanyue.

Huanyue and Shiori helped Miku confront her past and escape DEM after she was abducted, while Huanyue protected Tenguu City from the meteorites Westcott unleashed. Miku reconciled with the Spirits, honored her wager by sealing her powers, and ended by affectionately calling Huanyue and Shiori “honey” and “darling.”

• Huanyue won another contest against the Yamai sisters and used [Seraph of Thousand Blades] to give Kazamachi Yamai a body, while Yamai had her Spiritual Power sealed according to their wager.
• Kotori learned that Shiori's Spiritual Power could cause a disaster if it went berserk, and Huanyue promised to protect her after Kotori tearfully asked for help.
• Shiori met Miku, then teamed up with Huanyue to challenge her to a Tennou Festival performance wager; Huanyue performed with Shiori, Tohka, Sawa, [General], and First-Meeting Kurumi, and Raizen High School won first place.
• After Miku refused to seal her powers and controlled nearby Spirits and audience members, Huanyue flicked her forehead, and Miku left in anger.
• Huanyue and Shiori learned from Nia that DEM had abducted Miku, and Huanyue told Shiori about Miku's past as the falsely accused idol Tsukino Yoi before Shiori reached Miku in captivity.
• Huanyue rescued Shiori from Artemisia and diverted the meteorites Westcott sent toward Tenguu City, while Artemisia escaped with Westcott; Miku later apologized, received the Spirits' forgiveness, sealed her powers, and embraced Huanyue and Shiori.

Kazamachi Yamai won their match and asked Huanyue to help her spend more time in the real world. After Huanyue separated her into Yuzuru and Kaguya, Yamai regained her body and ended the chapter teasing Huanyue.

• Kazamachi Yamai won another match against Huanyue and asked to use her Angel to spend time in reality more often.
• Huanyue used Featherheal Sovereign to create a body for Yamai, then kicked her and caused her to split into Yuzuru Yamai and Kaguya Yamai.
• Huanyue offered to let the sisters share a body with Kazamachi Yamai, but Kaguya happily chose to spend more time outside with Yuzuru instead.
• Kaguya and Yuzuru argued over which of them should be the older sister, while Huanyue tried to slip away and tripped over Kazamachi Yamai.

Huanyue confronted Kazamachi Yamai about her possessiveness and discovered Yamai had forgotten they were already lovers. The chapter ended with Yamai realizing their relationship and blushing as Huanyue scolded her for being an idiot.
