Spy

After giving his three disciples some pointers, Fugaku told them to meet him tomorrow morning before they went to collect their mission. He left them to continue training and headed for the Security Force.

He remembered clearly the spies he had discovered in Iwagakure. They had already been hiding inside Konoha for quite some time.

There were the Chunin Harafuji Maru, the Jonin Muchuan, and several civilians. If Iwagakure alone had planted this many spies in Konoha, the other four nations probably had informants of their own.

Fugaku paid little attention to the civilian spies. Civilians had no access to secrets and could only gather information everyone in the village already knew.

His main target was Muchuan. The Third Hokage himself had appointed the man as a Jonin Instructor this year, and every Jonin Instructor needed the Third Hokage's approval. Without it, no one could take the position.

A spy who could appear regularly before the Third Hokage without being recognized was no ordinary man.

At the Security Force, Uchiha came and went, busy with their work. When they saw Fugaku enter, many greeted him with smiles.
