"Isn't it too rash for the Hokage to condemn the entire Uchiha clan because of one Madara Uchiha?
"As far as I know, Fugaku Uchiha is nothing like Madara Uchiha was. Konoha faces threats from within and without. Now, more than ever, you should set old grievances aside and work together.
"Besides, these are Konoha's internal affairs. You cannot disregard the safety of the Land of Fire because of them."
After speaking, the Chancellor was a little surprised at himself. Why did he care about Konoha's internal affairs, especially enough to speak up for the Uchiha clan?
The Third Hokage was just as surprised. The ministers in the Capital rarely asked about Konoha's internal affairs. Even the Daimyo never pried.
He could only conclude that the current situation and the rumors spreading outside had frightened the ministers, making them fixate on Fugaku.

"I have decided to put him in command of the Camp in the Land of Rain and recall
