"What's the plan, Clan Head?" Jin asked.
"You two will come with me to the Cloud-Mist Allied Forces' camp. With the Mizukage badly wounded, this is our chance to crush them.
"We'll deal them a heavy blow before the rest of their forces arrive," Fugaku said.
"Good. I can finally enjoy a proper fight. If the Raikage wants to ambush us, we'll return the favor," Hitoshi said with a grin.
"Heh. This won't be an ambush. We'll attack in plain sight. The question is whether the Raikage and the Eight-Tails Jinchūriki can withstand it," Fugaku said.
Night had deepened outside. In the forest, the moonlight barely gave them enough light to see.
Fully resupplied, the three left camp. Fugaku gave a few brief instructions, and they vanished.
The mood in the Cloud-Mist Allied Forces' camp was tense. The Mizukage had regained consciousness after treatment by the Medical Ninjas, but burns covered much of his body. For now, he could only handle matters from his bed.
"Focus on recovering, Mizukage. I'll discuss camp matters with Kirigakure's Senior Officials," the Raikage said.
The Mizukage nodded. Once the Raikage and Killer B had returned to the Command Headquarters, the Kirigakure Senior Officials at his bedside began to speak.
"Mizukage, could Kumogakure be deceiving us? Perhaps they never meant to cooperate. In just two months, Kirigakure has suffered terrible losses.
"The Seven Ninja Swordsmen we worked so hard to train have been killed one after another. Konoha even captured the Six-Tails Jinchūriki.
"Kumogakure hasn't suffered anything comparable. All it lost was one of the Eight-Tails' tentacles. It's obvious they're letting Kirigakure bear the cost.
"If this goes on, Kirigakure will be devastated while Kumogakure retains its strength. We'll be the ones who lose."
Several other Kirigakure Senior Officials voiced their opinions as well. None
