According to the city's Weather Warning Station, a cold air mass of unknown origin was spreading across the world. Parts of the north were already experiencing blizzards, and some rivers had even frozen over.

This cold air mass was very likely linked, directly or indirectly, to the recent string of extreme weather events.

Current data showed that ocean surface temperatures had risen above normal, while the atmosphere had become highly unstable. A trigger at any moment could produce powerful vertical updrafts.

Monitoring of recent thunderstorm clouds also showed that the clouds had begun to gather, merge, and rotate around a central point, forming signs of cloud clusters. As they developed, these clusters could very well become storm eyes.

Air currents at the tops of the storms would then spread outward, turning the storms into giant exhaust fans that continuously drew air and ground heat upward. The storms would rapidly grow in scale.

If these storms merged, they would form an unprecedented Superstorm Cluster—and there would be more than one.

Projections indicated that they were currently in the incubation stage of Superstorm Cluster formation, which would last roughly several days to a week.

The development stage would follow. Scattered convective clouds would rotate and converge, forming extreme storms. As their structures rapidly became symmetrical, dense central cloud regions would form, eyewalls would take shape, and the clusters would be complete.

An unprecedented disaster was coming.
