Speculation on the Origins of a Special Life-Form, and the Hunting Net Is Cast

[Eden] War Slaughter Machine Research Report

The Experiment Department has dissected and studied incomplete tissue from [Eden]'s War Slaughter Machine, the [Ascetic], and made a major discovery. This report will refer to the subject as the [Ascetic] throughout.

Multiple special-life-form Gene Sequences were found in the Ascetic's body. Their characteristics included Berserk, burning, and the backlash effect of Concealment.

Elder Hotero then attempted to combine the extracted Gene Sequences with other living beings.

Without exception, the special-life-form genes began devouring and rejecting their hosts as soon as they entered them. Every host died within an hour.

After several experiments, Elder Hotero concluded that [Eden] must possess technology capable of forcibly integrating these special-life-form Gene Sequences with humans. The technology was likely supplied by the [Orthodox Church] lurking behind them.

The most critical question was the origin of these special-life-form Gene Sequences. Elder Hotero could not yet suggest a specific direction for the investigation.

He stated that their sequences did not follow the patterns of any known organism. It was highly possible that this life-form did not come from our world.

There are currently three theories:

1. This special life-form came from beyond the heavens. The [Orthodox Church] acquired it by chance and used it to develop this war machine.

2. The [Orthodox Church] has a special means of obtaining this life-form. Current investigations indicate that a Sacrifice Ritual has recently become popular within [Eden].

We suspect this Sacrifice Ritual may be the means by which they obtain the life-form.

3. This special life-form originated in our world, but not on the surface. It may come from deep within the Inner Earth, assuming another world with its own ecosystem exists there.
