Hurried footsteps sounded behind Yu Yuan.
Mona and the others had caught up.
"Chief, how did it go?"
As Mona spoke, her gaze had already settled on the Life Scepter in Yu Yuan's hand.
It was hard to miss. The whole thing was gold, its design striking and mysterious, with a brilliant blue crystal set in the head.
One glance was enough to draw anyone's eye.
"It's done!"
Harmon, however, stopped abruptly. He came no closer, fear showing on his face.
Yu Yuan noticed the change in his expression and looked over.
"What's wrong?"
"Master... I don't know why, but there's something ahead that terrifies me..."
Harmon's words surprised everyone.
Mona and Jiu Feng's faces darkened. They were about to call for Security.
Yu Yuan stopped them.
He knew the presence Harmon sensed was probably the Dawn Miemie had released earlier.
Sunlight was deadly to Vampires.
That was especially true of the light in Dawn, with its sacred power.
To a creature of darkness like a Vampire, it was no less dangerous than poison.
That reminded Yu Yuan of something he had barely considered before.
If he expanded his Vampire Werewolf forces on a large scale,
he would have to be more careful about using Dawn. It could heal allied units,
but surely it would not work on dark-aligned troops!
Then again, Miemie's Hoofprint Spring had not harmed their dark-aligned allies.
Perhaps Dawn could distinguish friend from foe as well.
Still, to be safe,
he would test Dawn's effects on Vampire Werewolves beforehand.
When Jiu Feng and Miller heard Yu Yuan's concern,
they fell into thought.
Then they turned to Harmon.
"Harmon, it looks like we need to do some research on this..."
With Wendigo dealt with, Yu Yuan could no longer continue the Invasion War.
