"Go wash up, dinner's almost ready~"
"Okay!"
Su Ning couldn't help but chuckle inwardly at Chloe's obedient demeanor.
To be honest, even though she bore Chloe's name and appearance, her mannerisms and personality were actually closer to Miyu's.
"Miss, the car is ready."
"Thank you, Sella. Could you please check the locations of the largest department store and food street in Fuyuki City for me?"
"Understood, Miss."
At Fuyuki City's largest department store, Su Ning dragged Chloe into a full-on shopping frenzy.
Behind them, Sella and Riesbyfe were managing fine, while Heracles—now back to his senses—wore a doting, fatherly smile. Mordred, on the other hand, looked thoroughly annoyed.
It wasn't until Su Ning bought her a set of clothes too that a smile finally broke across her face.
"Phone, clothes, shoes... seems like there's nothing else to buy..."
A pink casual hoodie, beige loose-fitting sweatpants, and a pair of white sneakers—simple, cute, and easy to move in.
Su Ning lingered in front of the mirror for a while, thoroughly pleased with her new look.
As for Chloe... naturally, she was decked out in an adorable JK uniform. But to keep her warm, Su Ning chose knee-high socks and added a scarf... that should be enough, right?
"Little Black, are you cold?"
Chloe was simple, not dense. She could feel that Su Ning really liked her outfit, and even though the area under her skirt still felt a bit chilly, she shook her head firmly.
"Good. Let's go eat!"
Although the department store had plenty of dining options, as a true foodie, the food street was clearly where she belonged.
This time, Mordred—who could rival the gluttonous Artoria in appetite—joined in.
Su Ning guessed it had to do with the Dragon Factor both of them carried within.
"I see... Miss is testing Mordred's preferences to win her over... Miss is truly brilliant!" Sella and Riesbyfe exchanged glances, watching the two who had already bonded completely, arms slung over each other's shoulders, and couldn't help but marvel inwardly.
Without exaggeration, given their current relationship, even without Chloe's orders, Mordred wouldn't harm Su Ning anymore.
But in truth, Su Ning was just letting loose.
Not for herself, but for the tiny figure deep in her soul.
"Hey, Illya, where should we go after we eat?" At the yakitori stall, Mordred boldly downed five skewers in one go.
"After eating, we need to get down to business. My intuition tells me that tonight, other Masters and Servants will show up at Private Hoen-Gyu Academy."
Mordred paused mid-chew, then gulped down the chicken in her mouth and burst out laughing. "Hey, come on, you're a magus, not a warrior. Intuition?"
Su Ning smiled faintly. "How about a bet? If I'm right, then for the next three days, you have to do everything I say. Otherwise, may you never catch up to King Arthur's footsteps for the rest of your life. Deal?"
Mordred froze, taking a long moment to snap out of it. She stared at Su Ning, her eyes flickering with an unsettling brightness.
For a second, Su Ning thought Mordred was about to attack her.
