Power Progression

Background and History

Jodio grew up in a family with little Soul Master background: his father collected bodies, his mother was a seamstress, and his grandfather had a shovel martial soul. Jodio later spent years collecting bodies near the Star Luo–Sun Moon front lines. He became sworn brothers with Huo Yuhao, worked with him on Soul Tools and cultivation methods, and rose to become a powerful time-manipulating Soul Master 5 10 24.

Jodio initially avoided drawing the attention of factions while pursuing godhood. After Tang San obstructed his ascension, they became enemies. When Tang San overwhelmed Jodio and Huo Yuhao’s group, Jodio combined King Crimson: Requiem with his External Soul Bone to travel into the past. Divine interference forced him back into his six-year-old body, leaving him to rebuild his strength while his allies held out in the future 1 18.

Jodio joined Shrek Academy and began developing new Stands through spirit rings. In Suotuo City, he founded Passione to replace predatory gangs with an organization under his control. He also opened the affordable clinic JoJo’s Gospel, using it to treat residents, practice Gold Experience, and fund his work 2 7 15 20 21.

Appearance

After the time reversal, Jodio appears as a blond child with dark-red eyes and a notably proud bearing 2.

• His hair gained fluorescent green tips when he acquired Stone Free 7 43.
• Gold Experience added three doughnut-shaped curls 15 43.
• Later Stand-related changes made his hair begin to gather into a pompadour, a style he tried to prevent 43.

Personality

Jodio deliberately presents himself as bold and theatrical. He believes a convincing display of confidence can discourage trouble, but insists it must be backed by real ability. He wants to be first, calls himself an emperor, and readily poses or boasts in front of others 3 10.

He is protective of his friends and ordinary residents, yet can be ruthless toward people he judges threatening or abusive. He offers poor patients delayed payment and plans years ahead to help Ma Hongjun’s martial soul; he also kills Tong Bei after deciding that letting him go would endanger Passione. Dai Mubai openly questions that decision 21 24 34 35 36.

Abilities and Skills

Stand Arrow and Stands

Jodio’s martial soul is the Stand Arrow, not Silver Chariot. It manifests Stand-based abilities that consume Soul Power; the arrow can be used on Jodio himself, but is not a physical arrow he can use on others 3 13.

• Silver Chariot — An armored, rapier-wielding knight with fast attacks. At level 15 it can shed its armor for greater speed and afterimage-like duplicates, sacrificing protection 2 10.
• Stone Free — Turns Jodio’s body into controllable threads for movement, restraint, sensing, stitching, and evasive body transformations. Early on, he can transform about 70% of his body; broken threads injure him 7.
• Gold Experience — Turns objects into temporary living plants or animals and can create tissue or organs for healing. Its treatment is painful and cannot cure illness or poison; Jodio also develops Will Rampage at level 25 15 24 27.
• Tooth.1 — Fires spinning fingernails that regrow immediately; it can also cut with its nails and move by rotational friction 30.
• Crazy Diamond — Independently blocks attacks and repairs damaged things. Jodio proposes using its repair ability on Ma Hongjun’s martial soul, but initially does not know whether that application will work 42 44 50.

Time Manipulation

• King Crimson — In Jodio’s later-era battles, uses Epitaph’s future sight alongside time erasure and other time-based tactics to evade and delay Tang San 1 29.
• King Crimson: Requiem / Ouroboros’s Dream — His ninth-ring ability travels along known timelines, but cannot by itself change destined events 1 9.
• Great Time Reversal — His External Soul Bone can change events by reversing his personal time. Used alone, it costs future memories and abilities; combined with Ouroboros’s Dream, it enables his attempt to restart in the distant past. Divine power and time- or gravity-based interference can disrupt the passage 1 9.

Cultivation and Leadership

• Jodio and Huo Yuhao developed methods for young Soul Masters; Jodio applies intensive training to Oscar and Ma Hongjun 10 13 24.
• He plans spirit-ring builds around the user’s needs rather than a fixed combat type, advocating speed and defense for Ma Hongjun’s phoenix martial soul 6 36.
• He organizes Passione through combat strength, cultivation advice, businesses, and public services. His clinic also earns him a contract with the Great Soul Arena 20 21 22.

Equipment and Items

• Time-reversing External Soul Bone — The sole Soul Bone Jodio retained after arriving in the past 1.
• Gold-backed wristwatch — A keepsake made with Huo Yuhao; it also carries their limited-use time communication 1 3.

Relationships

• Huo Yuhao — Sworn brother, research partner, and ally in the fight against Tang San; entrusts the future to Jodio after his time jump 1 5 10.
• Tang San — Principal enemy. Jodio’s attempt to change history follows Tang San’s interference with his ascension and overwhelming attack on their group 1 18.
• Flender — Shrek Academy teacher who supports Jodio’s unusual spirit-ring choices while remaining protective of him 3 6 14.
• Zhao Wuji — Teacher who backs Jodio’s understanding of his martial soul but challenges his riskier plans 6 45.
• Ma Hongjun — Loyal friend and trainee. Jodio plans his combat development and repeatedly promises to address his martial-soul condition 6 24 36.
• Oscar — Friend and Passione associate whom Jodio encourages to value his food-type martial soul 5 20.
• Dai Mubai — Student Jodio tests harshly, then admits to Shrek. Their disagreements continue over responsibility and Jodio’s use of lethal force 27 30 36.
