Ning Wen joined the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, awakened the Asura Armor and Kunlun Mirror, and gained powerful Soul Skills while Ning Fengzhi and others heard his suspicious inner voice. The arc ended with Tang Yuehua beginning Ning Rongrong’s lessons and learning through Ning Wen’s thoughts that Tang San would kill Tang Chen in the future.
Ning Wen exposed Yu Xiaogang’s influence over Tang San and persuaded Xiao Wu to leave with him, while Tang Hao’s attempt to kill them was stopped by Chen Xin and Gu Rong. The pair set out together, and Ning Wen promised Xiao Wu that humans and Soul Beasts could one day live in peace.
Ning Wen uncovered Ah Yin and her Soul Bone, then used knowledge of the future and the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well to cure Dugu Bo, transform Dugu Yan, and strengthen the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect. Xiao Wu claimed the Lovesick Heartbreak Red, and the stretch ended as she and Dugu Yan began a five-ring spar.
Ning Wen brought his companions to Shrek Academy, where his strength and their cultivation exposed the school’s flaws and drew the attention of its students. After recruiting Zhu Zhuqing and helping her obtain a powerful Soul Ring, the group continued their forest journey together.
Ning Wen rescued Shui Bing’er’s group, joined Skywater Academy, and demonstrated that none of its students could match his strength. After promising Xiao Wu he would return, he left for Slaughter City and entered the Hell Slaughter Arena.
