Ye Zheng's face was full of resistance.
She knew her physical condition better than anyone. Gene Pollution had become an established fact, irreversible. Her future would end either with her dying in battle against Xenomorphs or taking her own life. There would be no third outcome.
Feng Ling asked awkwardly, "You really don't want to look? There are still two chances left..."
"No." Ye Zheng refused without leaving any room for discussion.

Isn't an item like this meant to help its user avoid danger and change the future? Feng Ling, you should keep it for yourself. For example, after some major change happens, you could use the Fate Spindle again. Maybe the outcome you see will be different."
Pei Xianjue nodded at that. "Exactly. If you see how you'll die but don't have enough uses left to find out whether you successfully changed the future, then you'll spend every day worrying. That kind of life would be miserable. It's better to save all the uses for one person."
Ye Zheng thought that made sense too and said to Feng Ling, "If I use the Spindle, there'll only be one chance left. Would you use it, or would I? If I use it, you won't get to see your final outcome. There are only three chances, so stop splitting them up. Keep them for yourself."
Feng Ling opened her mouth as if she wanted to say something, but she did not know how to say it.
"...Fine." Feng Ling took the Fate Spindle from Huangfu Miaomiao's hand. "Then let's go. The Maze should be disappearing soon."
Everyone nodded.
"Let's go. Pengpeng is still waiting for us up there."
