Guardian of the Ice Pillar Plate

The Ice Empress has lived in the Far North throughout her life. When the Ice Pillar Plate arrived there a century before Chi Hong’s visit, she and the Snow Empress began guarding and studying it. Despite understanding only a fraction of its Ice Law, she substantially improved her Ultimate Ice 18 21.

With her heavenly tribulation approaching, Tian Meng offered her a route to eternal life through Huo Yuhao. She suspected that he wanted her to sacrifice herself and instead tried to refine Tian Meng to break through her own limits. Her enhanced ice overcame his restraint and nearly killed both him and Huo Yuhao 17 18.

Defeat and Forced Contract

Chi Hong exploited Tian Meng’s confrontation to enter the ice pillar and absorb the Plate. The Ice Empress abandoned her attack on Tian Meng when she realized she had been drawn away, but returned too late to prevent the theft. Her Ultimate Ice could no longer harm Chi Hong because the absorbed Plate had made him immune to ice 18.

When she continued attacking, Chi Hong summoned Ho-Oh. Its divine bloodline suppressed her will, and a single Sacred Fire attack destroyed her defenses and left her near death.
