He then gained authority over the Sun Moon Empire and arranged cooperation with the Holy Spirit Cult, while the God of Destruction warned the Goddess of Life that multiple powerful beings were approaching Douluo Planet.

Xu Tianran became the new Sun Moon Emperor after receiving the God of Destruction’s power, then destroyed the Illustrious Virtue Hall while targeting Chi Hong. Chi Hong and a young Gu Yuena emerged unharmed, confronting Xu Tianran as he declared his ambition to rule the continent.

• Zygarde sensed that a new god had been born and scattered its cells across the world.
• Xu Tianran took the throne and ordered Zhongli Wu, Ye Xishui, and Long Xiaoyao to kill Chi Hong, promising Ye Xishui a chance at godhood.
• Long Xiaoyao suspected the Divine Realm was using Xu Tianran and the Holy Spirit Cult as pawns against Chi Hong, but he stayed beside Ye Xishui to protect her.

Chi Hong sent Mewtwo against the human camp’s strongest fighters, and Mewtwo swiftly killed Ye Xishui and struck Long Xiaoyao into a pit. He then faced Xu Tianran, whose Destruction Divine Lightning Mewtwo blocked with ease.

• Xu Tianran ordered Ye Xishui to demonstrate her power, and she summoned her Death God Tower with her Blood Soul Avatar.
• Chi Hong told Mewtwo to use Psystrike, and Mewtwo shattered the Death God Tower and destroyed Ye Xishui’s mind and soul.
• Long Xiaoyao rushed to catch Ye Xishui, but Mewtwo attacked him from behind with Aura Sphere and drove both of them into a deep pit.
• Zhongli Wu recoiled in fear as Mewtwo’s mental pressure overwhelmed the battlefield, while Chi Hong told Mewtwo to enjoy the fight.

Mewtwo defeated Xu Tianran and destroyed the God of Destruction’s Divine Sense after it possessed Xu Tianran’s body. As the Soul Master legions fired on Mingdu, Mewtwo stopped their shells and detonated them harmlessly in the sky.

• Mewtwo overwhelmed Xu Tianran with Psychic, leaving him unconscious while the God of Destruction sensed Mewtwo’s power from the Divine Realm.
• Chi Hong warned that the God of Destruction had taken control of Xu Tianran’s body, and the God of Destruction confronted Chi Hong and Gu Yuena.
• Mewtwo strengthened himself with Nasty Plot and Calm Mind, then used Future Sight and Psycho Cut to shatter the God of Destruction’s defenses and cut Xu Tianran’s body in two, destroying the Divine Sense.
• Zhongli Wu declared Xu Tianran dead and ordered the Soul Master legions to attack Mingdu with Level 9 Fixed Soul Guidance Shells.
• Mewtwo seized the incoming shells with Psychic and detonated them high above Mingdu.
