Background and History

Lu Ming transmigrates into Douluo Continent after choosing four system rewards: twin martial souls, a female Titled Douluo protector, Wind-Thunder Wings, and three self-created soul skills. His Golden Dragon King awakens at Notting City’s Spirit Hall branch. Yu Xiaogang immediately seeks to make him a disciple for access to his dragon bloodline, but Lu Ming refuses and defeats Yu’s disciple Tang San 1 2.

Xiao Xiao becomes Lu Ming’s protector and closest companion. He regards her as a sister rather than merely a guardian, and later tells her he wants them to stay together; their relationship develops into mutual romantic affection 4 15 31 35. At the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, Lu Ming spends two and a half years fusing Divine Bones bestowed by the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings. Their aid also transforms his sword martial soul 17 18.

Lu Ming later enrolls at Heaven Dou Royal Academy under terms that include adequate, unlimited meals. He becomes captain of its Second Team, choosing the tournament’s more demanding qualifying route as training. Personality

Lu Ming is confident in his strength and willing to challenge people with far higher cultivation, but he can also be practical: he bargains over his bloodline rather than risk a fight that might injure Xiao Xiao, and he chooses tournament qualifiers because he needs real combat to grow 14 38. His Golden Dragon King bloodline gives him an enormous appetite, making food a recurring concern and unlimited meals a key condition of his academy enrollment 1 30.

He is generous with companions, giving Xiao Xiao a valuable soul bone and later supplying Xiao Wu and Little Rui with bones of their own 5 49. Against enemies, he can be ruthless.
