Ye Lin gained powerful Spirit Rings and Spirit Bones while Tang San’s schemes repeatedly alienated the group. The Shrek students began Yu Xiaogang’s harsh endurance training, with Ye Lin carrying his exhausted teammates toward the finish.
The Shrek Seven Devils won a string of Soul Arena matches, including a decisive battle against the Imperial Fighting Team, while Yu Xiaogang guided the team toward Heaven Dou Royal Academy. Tang San’s thoughts revealed the past Yu Xiaogang had misunderstood, prompting Yu Xiaogang to resolve to make amends to Bibi Dong and Liu Erlong.
Yu Xiaogang returned to the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Sect, gained his family’s acceptance, and gave Ye Lin a powerful Spirit Bone. After Shrek Academy left Heaven Dou Royal Academy and reunited Yu Xiaogang with Liu Erlong at Blue Tyrant Academy, Dugu Bo abducted Ye Lin, who escaped and rejoined his teachers as they prepared to face the Poison Douluo.
Ye Lin and Yu Xiaogang survived Dugu Bo’s test, treated his poison, and returned to Shrek Academy with powerful gains and immortal herbs for the students. The students gained new strength, while Ning Rongrong, Zhu Zhuqing, and Xiao Wu each openly pursued Ye Lin.
Ye Lin and Yu Xiaogang secured the Strength Clan’s help and sold hidden weapons to the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, while Tang San’s attempt to claim the designs as his own failed. Yu Xiaogang reconciled with Bibi Dong at Spirit Hall, where she gave Ye Lin an External Soul Bone and body-tempering materials that began transforming him.
