Zhu Zhuqing grew up under the Zhu family’s connection to the Star Luo royal family and its deadly succession struggle. She was engaged to Dai Mubai, but he fled Star Luo City under pressure from Dai Weisi, leaving her behind. Zhuqing survived assassination attempts and crossed the Star Dou Great Forest to find him, hoping they could train together against their families’ expectations 96 97.

In Suotuo City, she instead found Dai with twin women and saw him lose an arena match. His continued visits to brothels extinguished her hope that he had fled to cultivate. She joined Shrek Academy, then trained with Lin Xuan’s group, using his Clear Mind Talismans to improve her meditation. While the group was still at Shrek, Lin Xuan gave her the Narcissus Jade Muscle Bone, which healed her old injuries and enabled her rapid advancement 24 34 48 75 77.

Her training with Lin Xuan included Soul Power circulation, close-quarters sparring, footwork, and drills inside Zhao Wuji’s Gravity Field. In the four-on-four match against Yu Xiaogang’s students, she defeated Ma Hongjun with the aid of Lin Xuan’s talismans, prompted Oscar to surrender, and helped Xiao Wu and Lin Xuan defeat Tang San and Dai Mubai 48 50.

Jiangzhu’s Holy Healing Art repaired the wounds to her shoulder, back, and waist after the duel. Although the injuries healed, her exhausted physical strength, Soul Power, and Spiritual Power still required rest. Lin Xuan canceled that night’s arena matches to allow her to recover 101 102.

Zhuqing subsequently helped the Blue Tyrant Team defeat the Imperial Fighting Team in under three minutes. She overwhelmed Osler with her speed and claw attacks, then followed Lin Xuan’s instruction to escort Ye Lingling out of the arena without harming her 113 114.

After reaching the level-40 bottleneck, she returned to Sunset Forest with the team. Lin Xuan selected a nearly five-thousand-year Netherworld Ghost Tiger compatible with her Martial Soul, and the team subdued it in less than a minute. Zhuqing delivered the finishing blow and absorbed its ring, with a Clear Mind Talisman calming her during the process. She emerged as a level-41 Soul Ancestor with Netherworld Shadow Clone 119 120.

During the Continental Advanced Soul Master Academy Elite Tournament’s qualifying stage, she used her shadow clones against Heaven Dou Royal Academy’s second team and Elephant Armor Academy. Against Blazing Fire Academy, she first pressured Huo Lie with her speed, then eliminated him by combining Netherworld Shadow Clone with Netherworld Slash 147 152 155 156.

Her feelings for Lin Xuan eventually became an acknowledged romantic relationship. After learning that he was prepared to shoulder the pressure from the Star Luo imperial family and the Zhu family, she embraced him and promised to become strong enough to stand beside him. Xiao Wu, Ning Rongrong, and Zhuqing agreed to remain united rather than compete with one another. Zhuqing is reserved and disciplined. She initially struggles to ask for help even when she urgently wants to improve, but trains hard and responds to kindness with quiet gratitude. Her guarded manner softens around Lin Xuan and her teammates 38 48 86.

Her break with Dai Mubai shows a more confrontational side. She refuses to let the marriage agreement determine her future and insists on fighting their decisive duel without outside enhancements, even when the matchup favors him 98 99.

Her determination can become self-sacrificing. During the duel, she accepts repeated injuries and ultimately takes a direct hit to her shoulder rather than abandon her only opportunity to win. Her earlier reckless cultivation had also left hidden injuries that required the Narcissus Jade Muscle Bone to heal 77 100.

Freedom and control over her own future are central concerns. Her flight above Sunset Forest makes her wish to live as freely as a bird, beyond her family’s deadly competition. In romance, she initially expresses devotion by asking to follow Lin Xuan rather than openly declaring her love; once their relationship is accepted, she resolves to grow stronger so she can stand beside him 93 102 170.
