Huo Yuhao escaped the Duke’s Estate with help from Xu Jiujiu, gained a second Martial Soul and began training in Star Luo City. In the Extreme North, he gained the Ice Empress as a Wisdom Spirit Ring and left with the Snow Empress after learning Cheng Gang had been badly beaten.

• Dai Yuhao resisted Dai Huabin and Dai Xing, then Jiang Ziya teleported him and Huo Yun’er away from the Duke’s Estate.
• Xu Jiujiu sheltered Huo Yuhao and Huo Yun’er in Star Luo City, and Huo Yuhao vowed to take revenge on Dai Huabin and the Duchess.
• Huo Yuhao entered the Star Dou Great Forest with Li Jun, where Tian Meng offered him a million-year Spirit Ring before Jiang Ziya appeared in his Sea of Consciousness.
• Jiang Ziya helped Huo Yuhao awaken his Four-Not-Like Martial Soul, and Huo Yuhao escaped the forest with Li Jun while the Ferocious Beasts sensed his Auspicious Beast aura.
• Huo Yuhao showed Xu Jiujiu his new Spirit Ring and Ceasefire domain, then began studying Soul Tools under Cheng Shitao.

After Huo Yun’er died and divine forces targeted her soul, Huo Yuhao trained for three years and left for Shrek Academy to pursue Dai Huabin. At Shrek, he clashed with Wang Dong’er, became class monitor, reunited with Tang Ya and Bei Bei, and discovered that Ma Xiaotao needed help controlling her defective martial soul.

• Huo Yuhao defeated a Mirror Shadow Beast, absorbed its Spirit Ring, and gained the Spiritual Clone ability.
• After Huo Yuhao returned to the Star Luo Empire with Emperor Snow, Xu Jiawei welcomed him and arranged his engagement to Xu Jiujiu.
• Huo Yuhao absorbed an Ice Jade Scorpion Spirit Bone and reached level twenty-nine, but Huo Yun’er’s old injury soon proved fatal.
• Jiang Ziya and Electrolux rescued Huo Yun’er’s soul from a divine attack, and Huo Yuhao vowed revenge on Tang San and Dai Mubai before training for three years.
• After learning Dai Huabin had entered Shrek Academy, Huo Yuhao left the Star Luo Empire with the Snow Empress and enrolled with Xu Jiawei’s recommendation.
• Huo Yuhao outwitted Wang Dong in their first dormitory fight, and Jiang Ziya and Electrolux found Tang San’s aura on Wang Dong and suspected she was his descendant.

• Huo Yuhao reunited with Tang Ya and Bei Bei at a picnic, where Ma Xiaotao asked him to use his Ultimate Ice to help her control her defective martial soul.

Huo Yuhao balanced his studies in both Shrek departments, built ties with Ma Xiaotao and his teammates, and advanced through the Freshman Competition. After repeatedly clashing with Dai Huabin, he agreed to settle their rivalry in the final with a wager.

• Ma Xiaotao brought Huo Yuhao to the Golden Ancient Tree, where he sensed two presences, and Yan Shaozhe later agreed to provide him with cultivation manuals and a token for the Soul Tool Department.
• Huo Yuhao soothed Ma Xiaotao’s evil fire with ultimate ice, and their circulating soul power improved their cultivation as Ma Xiaotao began to suspect they could use a Martial Soul Fusion Skill.
• Huo Yuhao demonstrated his Level 4 Soul Engineer skills to Qian Duoduo and Fan Yu, then made a powerful gourd Soul Tool that prompted Xian Lin'er to offer him a place in the Soul Tool Department.
• Mu En decided Huo Yuhao could study in both departments, and Huo Yuhao spent three months cultivating before reuniting with Wang Dong'er and Xiao Xiao for the Freshman Competition.
• Huo Yuhao’s team defeated Huang Chutian’s team, and Ma Xiaotao later punished Dai Huabin for bullying Jiang Nannan and damaging her grilled fish stall.
• When Dai Huabin refused to pay for the damage, Huo Yuhao summoned the Snow Empress, who subdued him and demanded that the White Tiger Duke's Mansion pay to retrieve him.
• Huo Yuhao told his friends about his abuse at the Duke's Estate and his mother’s death, then helped his team defeat Xie Huanyue’s team and Ning Tian’s team.
• Dai Huabin challenged Huo Yuhao to a final match wager, and Huo Yuhao told Xiao Xiao and Wang Dong'er he had a surprise prepared for him and Zhu Lu.

Huo Yuhao won the Freshman Competition by defeating Dai Huabin, then traveled to the Star Dou Great Forest to obtain his fourth Spirit Ring through a contract with a Silver Hero Beast. He returned to Shrek Academy with Di Qiu'er, whose enrollment and his evolved powers set up new encounters with his classmates and Ma Xiaotao.

• Huo Yuhao’s team defeated Dai Huabin, Zhu Lu, and Cui Yajie in the Freshman Competition final, and Huo Yuhao made Dai Huabin fulfill their old wager before the team was named champion.
• Huo Yuhao received a Secret Art Spirit Bone, shared a Void Demon Leopard leg bone with Xiao Xiao, and was appointed Control System class monitor and head monitor.
• Huo Yuhao took leave for a Soul Hunt and went to the Star Dou Great Forest with the Snow Empress, where Di Tian and the Ferocious Beasts brought him to Gu Yuena at the Lake of Life.
• Huo Yuhao formed a soul spirit contract with a forty-thousand-year Silver Hero Beast, named her Xiao Yin, and gained Mental Replication as his fourth Soul Skill.
• The Snow Empress consumed a snow lotus and survived her seventh Heavenly Tribulation, then fought Di Tian to a draw before Huo Yuhao prepared to leave the forest with Di Qiu'er.
• Gu Yuena gave Huo Yuhao her reverse scale, which transformed his Four-Not-Like Martial Soul and gave him five additional ultimate elemental attributes and a silver Spirit Ring.
• Huo Yuhao returned to Shrek City with Di Qiu'er, and Yan Shaozhe admitted her to the Inner Court after Mu En recognized her Golden Dragon Martial Soul and Huo Yuhao’s evolved powers.
• Ma Xiaotao and Di Qiu'er sparred after meeting at the Sea God’s Pavilion, while Huo Yuhao demonstrated Mental Replication to Xiao Xiao and Wang Dong'er and used his Four-Not-Like Martial Soul to ease Wang Dong'er’s stomach pain.
