Garp's seemingly casual action was like a stone tossed into a calm lake, stirring up a thousand waves.
Picking his nose, he said in a completely indifferent tone, "If you don't like me, come hit me!"
Those provocative words were like a spark, instantly igniting Allen's fury.
Allen was so enraged by the old man's attitude that he laughed. Impulsive as he was, he immediately wanted to rush over and beat Garp senseless, his furious gaze seeming to pierce straight through him.
However, Yamato stepped in just in time and stopped Allen.
Full of confusion, Allen looked at the hand Yamato had grabbed and asked, "What is it?"
Yamato stared at Garp with determination and replied, "Leave him to me. Go find someone else."
With that, Yamato turned to Garp and roared, "You old man, how dare you stir up trouble? I'll beat you to death!"
Before her words had even faded, Yamato raised her Wolf-tooth club and smashed it toward Garp, her momentum like raging Waves.
Garp was no pushover either. He met her barehanded, and the two launched into a fierce clash. Every attack carried tremendous force, every defense was as solid as a rock, and they traded blows back and forth in an exceptionally intense battle.
Seeing the two locked in a stalemate with no winner likely to emerge anytime soon, Allen's eyes shifted as an idea came to him. He planned to deal with the other Marines first.
But first, he had to send Gion away. After all, Gion was no small problem here either.
Allen's figure flashed, and with a Teleport, he Appeared beside Gion. He grabbed her hand Fast as Lightning, then Teleported again, and the two vanished without a trace.
When Allen Appeared again, he was alone. Clearly, he had safely sent Gion back to the Marine dormitories.
This sight made Chief Officer Tsuru anxious. She immediately demanded, "Where did you take Gion?"
Allen simply waved a hand with a relaxed expression. "She's fine. You should worry about yourselves instead!"
You laughed so happily when I was getting beaten up. Now I'll let you have even more fun!
With that, Allen created a Space Sphere with one hand. He continuously poured sword energy into it, and the Space Sphere emitted powerful energy fluctuations, as though heralding the arrival of a storm.
Seeing this, Chief Officer Tsuru did not hesitate to activate her Wash-Wash Fruit Ability. A blue ray shot toward Allen like an arrow.
This time, Allen did not choose to Teleport. A hint of curiosity flashed in his eyes, and he actually tried to block This Move with his hand, wanting to see just how powerful it was.
When the blue light touched Allen's arm, something miraculous happened. His arm instantly turned into clothing.
Allen was slightly surprised, but quickly regained his composure. The corners of his lips rose as he said, "This ability isn't bad, but it's useless against me."
Chief Officer Tsuru remained calm as she replied, "Brat, don't talk big."
Allen smiled disdainfully. "Then watch closely!"
Powerful Armament Haki then erupted from On Him. Like surging ocean waves, it instantly restored his arm to normal.
Chief Officer Tsuru was startled. She knew full well how powerful that Haki was. Indeed, her ability had no real effect on Allen.
Allen continued, "You can't control me, but it'd be really annoying if you kept hitting me From Time to Time during a fight. You should go rest somewhere else."
With that, Allen flashed and Appeared beside Chief Officer Tsuru. A Space Sphere immediately formed and tightly enclosed her within it, then Allen vanished along with the sphere.
When Allen returned again, Chief Officer Tsuru was gone. Clearly, he had sent her somewhere safe.
Seeing this, Kizaru's lecherous voice rang out. "What did you do to Lady Tsuru?"
"I sent her off to get some proper rest."
Allen then swept his gaze over the surrounding Marines and called out, "Are you coming at me together, or is it 1V1?"
Kizaru secretly groaned. He really wanted to say, "Can we not fight? I just want to go back to my office, drink tea, and trim my toenails."
But Allen gave him no chance to choose.
Allen began gathering power.
"Divine Avoidance!"
With a loud shout, an enormous Red Slash burst from his sword. Like a beam of destruction, it swept toward the Marines.
Faced with the incoming slash, fear surged through Kizaru's heart. He had no intention of risking his life for such a salary, so he immediately dodged aside.
The remaining Marine Vice Admirals were not so lucky. They resisted with all their strength, but the powerful impact still sent them flying over ten meters away. One after another, they spat blood, clearly suffering severe injuries.
Kizaru secretly rejoiced. Fortunately, he had dodged. Otherwise, he would definitely have been injured too.
Still, he felt a little guilty. He had just dodged away, and he wondered whether those guys would complain about him to Sengoku.
At that thought, he decided he needed to do something to salvage his image after running away.
So he shouted at the other Marines, "Hurry up and leave! He's very strong. Let me deal with him!"
The Vice Admirals from Akainu's faction nearly vomited blood from anger upon hearing that. They indignantly thought, If you're so brave, why didn't you step forward just now?
But they did not dare argue. Kizaru was an Admiral, after all, so they could only obediently withdraw and blame themselves for not being skilled enough.
Seeing that Kizaru was willing to fight alone, Allen immediately became interested. He flashed Kizaru a grin of white teeth and teased, "Admiral Kizaru, so you're actually this brave? Are you going to have a 1V1 fight with me?"
At this moment, several Marine Vice Admirals who had already left halfway stopped and turned back to look at Kizaru.
Kizaru immediately felt several pairs of his colleagues' eyes fixed on him. For a moment, he was stuck in an awkward position and could only accept through tears, throwing out a harsh line at Allen. "Today, this old man will take you down!"
The Marines were stunned by Kizaru's bold declaration. Was this really the lazy Admiral they knew?
Just then, Kizaru made a request of Allen. "Allen brat, let's set three rules first. We'll only compete in swordsmanship. You can't use a Space Sphere to trap me like last time!"
Allen considered it and felt that the request was not unreasonable, so he agreed.
Then Allen said, "You made a request, so I'll make one too: no running away halfway through!"
Kizaru nodded. "Alright!"
He knew Chief Officer Tsuru's plan. They only needed to exhaust Allen's stamina; there was no need to risk their lives.
"Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi!"
Kizaru created a sword of light with Both hands. The light sword shone with a blinding radiance and did look somewhat imposing.
But in Allen's eyes, it was a little too showy. He dismissed it with disdain. As far as showing off went, who could possibly compare to him?
"Sword Come!"
Allen raised his right hand in a sword-gripping gesture. A vortex instantly appeared in the sky, and a divine sword radiating Colorful Light slowly descended into Allen's hand.
The scene was simply too shocking. Even Yamato, who was still fighting, was drawn to it. Her eyes sparkled as she excitedly cried out, "Wow, wow, wow~ That's so cool! You really are the King of Showing Off!"
But before Yamato could stay excited for more than three seconds, Garp's fist slammed heavily into her face, sending her flying several meters away.
After being hit, Yamato stood up, covered her nose with her Left hand, and then burst into tears.
"Waaahhh~"
Her tears fell nonstop like beads from a broken string, as though they cost nothing.
