Arc 9The Shichibukai Bargain

Allen fought the Marines, drew the World Government’s attention, and accepted a costly job aimed at Shanks. He revealed the truth about the Rubber-Rubber Fruit to Rayleigh, then reunited with Shanks and the boys as Luffy asked to become a pirate.

  • Allen flew with Yamato and Nana, and news of the Peerless Sword Immortal spread worldwide.
  • Allen battled the Marines at Marine Headquarters, using his abilities to evade and attack them before Garp blocked his greatsword.

Arc 10The Nika Fruit and Alabasta

Allen maneuvered around the Nika Fruit, fooled the World Government, and traveled with his family toward Alabasta, where he defeated Crocodile and encountered Hiyori. The World Government sent Garp to negotiate for Crocodile while Cobra awaited confirmation of troubling information.

  • Allen warned Shanks about the Nika Fruit, then gave it to Luffy, who ate it and discovered his body could stretch.
  • Allen and Shanks staged a feud to fool the World Government, which paid Allen eight billion Berry for a fruit CP0 suspected was fake.
  • Allen discussed his plans for a freer system of shared leadership with Kaido, then sailed toward Alabasta with his family and Robin.

Arc 11Pluton and the Distant Sea

Allen seized Pluton, challenged the World Government, and gathered allies and resources while preparing for his voyage. The arc left him heading toward East Blue, with Ace and Figarland Garling on his mind.

  • Allen killed Saint Shepherd Somaz, took part of Imu’s power, and brought Pluton to Hachinosu Island, while Shamrock and Gunko escaped and the World Government lost four Holy Knights.
  • Allen fought Kizaru and Aokiji over Vegapunk’s brains, rescued four cases, and gave two of them to Dragon.

Allen moved between Alabasta, Sabaody, and other parts of the world, clashing with powerful figures and making plans involving Shanks, Gion, and Fisher Tiger. The stretch ends with Yamato confronting Luffy, Ace, and Sabo before Robin and Nana lead the boys away.

  • Allen dealt with Crocodile in Alabasta, bringing him to Cobra for payment, then later captured him again and set out to sell him for one billion Berry.
  • Allen and Robin began a relationship, but Crocodile captured Robin and Nana and demanded that Allen help him find Pluton.
