Jade patted her chest, then looked excitedly at Mikoto Misaka. "Mikoto! That move was so cool! Whoosh! That orange-red light! What's it called? Railgun? That's amazing!"
Boruto crowded over too, his eyes shining. "Whoa! That looked way more exciting than Dad's Rasengan! Can you teach me?"
Mikoto waved a hand, a little embarrassed. "It requires a particular physique and a foundation in certain abilities. You can't use it just by learning Hand Seals."
"All right, everyone," Kagura said, interrupting the discussion with his usual gentle smile. "You've all worked hard today. It's been quite an eventful day."
"Kirigakure has prepared rooms for you. Please follow me. Get some rest; the formal exchange classes start tomorrow."
Everyone followed Kagura to Kirigakure's guesthouse for foreign visitors. It was elegant and well equipped. But a small issue arose when it came time to assign rooms.
"The purpose of this exchange is to bring the villages closer together, so we've deliberately mixed up the room assignments."
Kagura explained apologetically, pointing to a door. "This room is for Boruto, Mitsuki, Damian, and me."
"The one next door is for Sarada, Mikoto, Anya, and Jade."
"What?! Why do I have to share a room with this arrogant Konoha brat?!" Damian protested at once, pointing at Boruto.
Kagura patiently explained, "Damian, that's exactly how we break down barriers and get to know one another. You're all the same age. Wouldn't it be nice to talk tonight?"
Boruto didn't mind. If anything, he thought it sounded interesting. He yawned, pushed the door open, and went in first.
He spotted the neat beds and soft pillows. His eyes darted to one; he snatched it up and hurled it straight into Damian's face as Damian came through the door!
