Sasuke and Naruko broke into the Uchiha archive so he could learn advanced techniques, then repaired their friendship after the attempt nearly caused trouble between their families. As Sasuke pursued strength and Hokage ambitions, the Canopy Screen shifted to Boruto’s mischief and Kakashi’s covert journey to Kumogakure.

• Naruko helped Sasuke tend his injuries, and when he asked how to grow stronger quickly, she proposed secretly memorizing advanced techniques from the Uchiha archive.
• Sasuke and Naruko entered the archive through its ancient Barrier, where Naruko suggested the Uchiha stone tablet concealed a conspiracy and Sasuke found records that left him suspecting Obito might still be alive.
• Setsuna and the Military Police Force caught Sasuke and Naruko at Canaan Shrine, but Fugaku intervened and sent Naruko home with Itachi while deferring Sasuke’s punishment until he earned merit.
• Sasuke regretted blaming Naruko for their failed plan, and the two reconciled by creating a private finger sign after he gave her Super-Hot Paradise as an apology gift.
• Naruko revealed she had written Super-Hot Paradise, gave Sasuke an Uzumaki Ninja Sword, and warned him that the Uchiha’s history would make becoming Hokage difficult.

Aizen led the Kumogakure students to Kirigakure for an exchange meeting, where the visiting teams bonded before Ao tested them against the new Ninja Swordsmen. As the students began to understand one another, Aizen secretly met Myotismon, who suspected Jade and warned of a hidden danger in Uncle's Antique Shop.

• Kakashi entered Kumogakure under the name Gintoki Sakata, joined Kogoro Mouri's Odd Jobs Shop, and earned Kogoro's confidence by swiftly cutting off his whiskers.
• Aizen persuaded Principal A to include Anya Forger with Damian and Mikoto Misaka on Kumogakure's Kirigakure exchange team, while Naruto appointed Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki to represent Konoha.
• Chojuro proposed the exchange to ease tensions after the Peace Tour incident, approved Ao's plan to reform the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, and refused Ao's request to recruit Jade.
• Jade and Kagura welcomed the Konoha and Kumogakure teams, and Jade took the students to the arcade, where they played games and shared stories before an outbreak of unexplained illness disrupted the village.

Myotismon and the New Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist launched a coordinated attack on Kirigakure, forcing its protectors and young visitors to fight across the village. The children defeated several Dark Digimon, but a colossal threat emerged near the Mizukage Building as the arc ended.

• Myotismon recruited Ao to lure Jade away during the Exchange Meeting, but Ao rejected his offer, discarded the Blood Source Essence, and resolved to warn Chojuro.
• Kagura refused Hoshigaki Shichengzhen’s invitation to join a coup, and Mei announced the Will of Water to oppose Bloody Mist extremism.
• Ao led Kagura, Jade, and the young visitors toward Blackstone Mountain, where Myotismon revealed his plans and Ao attacked him before Kuzan, Smoker, and Sakazuki joined the fight.
• The three shinobi froze Myotismon, but he transformed into VenomMyotismon while Kurosuki Shizuma and the New Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist unleashed a Dark Digimon army on Kirigakure.
• Kagura and Jade rushed to protect Chojuro as the young visitors split up to fight Dark Digimon, and Aizen and Moegi battled to defend the village.
• Mitsuki defeated Mammothmon in Sage Mode, Mikoto Misaka destroyed MegaSeadramon with a modified Railgun, and Damian beheaded DeathMeramon after Anya was struck while protecting him.

• A colossal figure appeared near the Mizukage Building, and Raikage A praised Mikoto Misaka and Damian before ordering Darui and Samui to develop a plan to cultivate young Lightning Release talents.

Jade and her allies helped Chojuro defeat VenomMyotismon, but Ao gave his life to save Kirigakure and secure Chojuro’s future as Mizukage. After Ao’s funeral, Sasuke crushed a Jashinist stronghold, provoking Hidan to prepare for war, while Kabuto’s home life and a dangerous new patient brought the story to Gintoki Sakata.

• Samehada chose Jade, who captured Hoshigaki Shichengzhen, then accepted Tailmon’s offer to help defeat VenomMyotismon.
• Boruto summoned the Red-Eyes Black Dragon, and its Black Dragon’s Roar destroyed Soulmon as Sarada recovered.
• Chojuro, Boruto, Jade, Tailmon, and the other fighters battled VenomMyotismon until Ao sacrificed his life to break its resistance and the gate consumed it.
• Chojuro took responsibility for Kirigakure, honored Ao at his funeral, and entrusted Kagura with Hiramekarei as the exchange students departed.
• Sasuke defeated Dagon and the Ananta Serpent, then ordered the Konoha ninja to clear the Jashinist camp and process its captives according to standard procedures.
