Background and History

Dongfang Muxue came from the Dongfang Family of Southern Domain Qitian. She ran away with her maid Lü Liu, seeking a secluded sect where her family could not find her. Muxue believed that escaping her mother’s suppressing formations would allow her eight-star aptitude to flourish 7 9.

On the way to the Cloud Offering Sect’s recruitment gathering, the two met Li Moqing. His hidden Heavenly Mist Sect offered better concealment, so Muxue agreed to become his personal disciple on the condition that Lü Liu could join too. At her initiation, she gave three Low-Grade Source Stones in place of the customary thirty Gold Yuan 7 8.

Her family discovered her absence after an illusion used to conceal it came to light. Patriarch Dongfang Huayu ordered a discreet search before her eighteenth birthday 10. Muxue later saw Dongfang Family members at the Qigu Secret Realm gathering but did not approach them, fearing she might be unable to leave again; she was also troubled by the Wang Family’s treatment of her 37.

Muxue is proud and decisive: she chose an obscure sect over a more established option to protect her freedom, and she faced Wang Chenjue and Feng Quchu despite their higher cultivation 7 41. She is also attentive to those close to her. She worried when Lü Liu meditated without food or water, set aside news of her own breakthrough to celebrate Lü Liu’s, and returned to defend her family when it came under attack 11 17 47.

Ice Source Aspect

Muxue’s Source Aspect is Ice. Revealing it sharply chilled the reception hall and spread ice blossoms beneath her feet; she withdrew it when the cold made Lü Liu shiver 8.
