He cursed furiously, "Shisui Uchiha and Konoha's Kakashi, just you wait."

"And that brat Naruto Uzumaki—I won't let any of you off!"

After saying that, Ay turned toward the window, his gaze resolute. "If you intend to destroy my Kumogakure in the future..."

"Then you, Shisui Uchiha of Konoha in the future, had better prepare for my wrath right now."

Sorrowful music played softly.

A little blond boy slowly appeared on the Light Screen in the sky.

He stood atop the Hokage Rock in Konoha.

The boy spread his arms, drew a deep breath, and shouted, "I, Naruto Uzumaki, will become Hokage and earn everyone's recognition!"

Across the Shinobi World,

the moment the opening of this future broadcast appeared,

the leaders of every village—and everyone else in the Shinobi World—froze.

They found themselves repeating the words, "The Lonely Savior of the Shinobi World."

"That blond boy is called Naruto Uzumaki too?"

People across the Shinobi World kept asking, "Are the blond Naruto Uzumaki and the black-haired Naruto Uzumaki different people?"

The Hokage's Office.

The moment Minato Namikaze saw the blond boy called Naruto Uzumaki,

he froze, his mind racing.

Why do I feel so close to that child?

Minato kept asking himself, Why does he have Kushina's chakra?

Silence fell over the entire Hokage's Office in Konoha.

Shikaku Nara spoke up. "Could the blond Naruto Uzumaki be the savior of this Shinobi World?"

Hiruzen Sarutobi sounded stunned. "Haven't you noticed?"

"The blond boy called Naruto Uzumaki is a Konoha ninja too."

Hiruzen looked at Minato in disbelief. "Has anyone noticed how much that boy looks like Minato when he was little?"

"And he has Kushina's chakra."

After hearing Hiruzen's observations,

everyone turned toward Minato.

Utatane Koharu studied Minato, then the blond boy, and finally said, "He really does look like him."

Mitokado Homura added, "That child may well be Minato and Kushina's son."

Fugaku Uchiha, standing nearby, was bewildered. Wasn't my second son the savior of the Shinobi World?

Could the savior of the Shinobi World be the Fourth Hokage's son?

Then something seemed to click for Fugaku, and he continued to himself, Whether or not Sasuke Uchiha becomes the savior of this Shinobi World,

he'll always be the second son I'm proudest of.

Nearby, Shimura Danzō said coldly, "Hmph. If that child is Minato and Kushina's future son,"

"then once he's born, my Root will look after him."

As Danzō's words reached everyone in the room,

they hurriedly looked toward Minato. Gone was the man

whose smile and warmth always put people at ease.

Now Minato's expression was cold.

He glared at Danzō, fury in his eyes.

At last, Hiruzen Sarutobi stepped forward and snapped, "Shut your mouth, Danzō."

"If that child is Minato's future son,"

"then Minato and Kushina will raise and care for him. They don't need you volunteering."

In truth, Danzō had regretted his words as soon as he said them.

The thought that the child would become the future savior had carried him away.

If I get my hands on that child, I'll definitely become Hokage.

Then I'll train Naruto Uzumaki into my weapon of war.

Hiruzen Sarutobi shot back, "Don't forget, Danzō. Minato Namikaze is the Hokage now."

Danzō rose and kicked the Hokage's Office door hard.

Bang!

"You'll regret this, Monkey," he said angrily.

With that, Danzō stormed out of the Hokage's Office.

After he left, the others apologized to Minato Namikaze one by one.

Hiruzen Sarutobi said gently, "Don't take it to heart, Minato. Danzō, he—"

Minato cut him off. "I understand, Third Hokage. No matter what happens in the future,"

"I'll protect Konoha. And I'll protect my child too."

Seeing that Minato was still the same man he had always been,

Hiruzen Sarutobi smiled and nodded with satisfaction.

At home, Kushina Uzumaki was resting.

As she watched the future broadcast in the sky, Kushina felt certain that the blond boy was her little Naruto.

Still, Kushina didn't stop to wonder why his name was Naruto Uzumaki

rather than Naruto Namikaze.

Kushina Uzumaki gently stroked her belly, her expression soft.

Kushina was more than eight months pregnant.

Naruto stirred inside her, sending waves of pain through Kushina's belly.

Kushina rubbed her belly gently and whispered, "Don't be impatient, Naruto. Just one more month or so."

"Then we can meet..."

Jiraiya, who was on his way to Konoha, stopped in his tracks.

Jiraiya stared at the Light Screen in astonishment. "How can that child look so much like Minato?"

"And he has Kushina's chakra."

It all clicked, and Jiraiya laughed with delight. "Ha! Naruto Uzumaki—he's Minato and Kushina's son!"

"So Minato and Kushina really did use that name."

Jiraiya's eyes shone with anticipation. "I wonder if Naruto's been born yet."

"Ha! By the time I get back to Konoha, I'll be able to hold my precious grandson."

"Hahaha!"

But as he laughed, Jiraiya suddenly sighed. "Ah... I spent half my life searching for the Child of the Prophecy, and he was right beside me all along."

Jiraiya recalled the broadcast's opening words. "The Lonely Savior of the Shinobi World, huh? But this time, Naruto, I won't let you be lonely."
