Tobirama Senju folded his arms and said gravely, "Brother, did you see that? That wicked Izuna Uchiha."

"He actually came back to life in the future?"

Something seemed to occur to Tobirama, and his expression darkened. "If even that wicked Izuna Uchiha came back to life..."

"Then Madara Uchiha must have come back to life in the future too."

Hashirama Senju asked gravely, "Could it be that Impure World Reincarnation technique you invented?"

Tobirama sighed. "Brother, are you really that slow? They came back to life completely. It had nothing to do with Impure World Reincarnation."

Hashirama replied dejectedly, "It seems Madara was hiding something from me."

Tobirama folded his arms and scolded him. "Brother, how many times have I told you? That wicked Madara Uchiha wouldn't die so easily."

"I told you before, but you didn't believe me. That's why I researched Impure World Reincarnation—to guard against Madara Uchiha."

"But this isn't the time for that, Brother. The Shinobi World is about to descend into chaos."

Hashirama began listening in earnest.

Tobirama continued, "A mysterious power has appeared in the Shinobi World, one that can reveal events yet to happen."

Worry filled Tobirama's face. "I don't know what to make of that Light Screen in the sky. It isn't a good thing, but it isn't necessarily bad either."

"All I know is what my gut tells me."

"I can feel the Shinobi World growing more chaotic from here on."

Hashirama asked, puzzled, "But if that Light Screen shows people the tragedies of the future..."

"Shouldn't they understand just how hard-won peace is?"

"Why would things grow more chaotic?"

Tobirama explained calmly, "What if you were wrong from the very beginning, Brother?"

"What if everything you stood for turned out to be a lie?"

Tobirama looked at the silent Hashirama and continued, "There would be only two possibilities. The first is that they turn back and face the enemies of the future together."

"But that's highly unlikely! People with great power won't give it up so easily."

"The second possibility is revenge. They'll all look for ways to unite the Shinobi World under themselves."

"But when one person wants it, then two, then three, four, five..."

"When everyone wants to rule the Shinobi World, Brother, you can imagine what it will become."

"And once that Light Screen gains the power to bring people back to life..."

"The great warriors of past eras will return. None of them will yield to anyone else."

"When that happens, it'll be even more eventful than our Warring States era."

Tobirama's voice grew grave. "Don't forget, Brother!"

"Our Senju clan and the Uchiha clan survived."

"But!"

"The clans wiped out during the Warring States era..."

"They'll be brought back too."

Tobirama said gravely, "Do you know how many clans were stronger than ours, Brother?"

Hashirama stared at his younger brother in confusion.

Seeing that Hashirama knew nothing about them, Tobirama could only explain with a sigh. "That's what comes of spending every day of your life thinking about Madara, Madara, Madara."

Chastised by his younger brother, Hashirama scratched his head sheepishly and stood there looking foolish.

Tobirama explained in earnest, "When I was very young, I read every sealed scroll in our clan's possession."

"Then, after you became Hokage, I devoted myself to researching ninjutsu."

"One day, I came across an ancient book made of animal hide."

"It recorded many clans, including the Kaguya clan."

"They wielded their bones as weapons, but that wasn't the important part. According to the book, they could also absorb other people's chakra."

"They were immensely powerful—no weaker than our Senju clan."

"The second clan recorded in the book was the Chinoike Clan. Their power lay in their eyes, which rivaled the Sharingan."

"They excelled at genjutsu-based Kekkei Genkai."

"Though their eyes rivaled the Sharingan, the Sharingan could evolve, while theirs could not."

"But how many members of the Uchiha clan ever awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan?"

"What's more, the Chinoike Clan was once a large clan."

Ōnoki had been floating in the air at first, watching the fierce battle between the two Uchiha on the Light Screen.

The leaders and Kage of every village had watched the battle between Uchiha An and the mysterious man in the black mask.

Now they were all thinking about how to form an alliance of the five great nations.

They would set aside their villages' grudges and face the powerful enemy awaiting them in the future.

The other four villages immediately thought of Konoha.

But Raikage A was suspicious by nature. He could not bring himself to fully trust Konoha or the other villages.

What Raikage A failed to understand was...

After what would happen to Hizashi Hyuga, on top of all the ways Kumogakure had humiliated Konoha...

With the National Day holiday coming up, I've had a lot of part-time work. I've been working more than ten hours a day these past two days.

At one of my jobs, I have to stand from the start of my shift until it ends.

Yesterday, I spent the whole day working as a server. When I got home, my legs were so weak I could barely stand.

I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.

But I only worked one job today, so I have some time now. I'll update as quickly as I can.

These days have been exhausting, but I feel fulfilled because I can see hope ahead.
