As she spoke, her fingertips brushed the Collar around her neck and pressed its heart-shaped button.

A faint pink glow spread across her starry eyes.

Yet even after Su Yue used her Superpower, Marée Alaira's attitude did not change in the slightest.

"You don't need to."

Marée Alaira gave a soft snort and turned away, ignoring Su Yue.

Su Yue stood there, stunned and bewildered.

Why had her Superpower barely worked on the man in the Slime Mask, while this dragon woman was completely unaffected?

Her Star-Love Demon Eye could even influence an Intermediate Investigator. Why had it failed her again and again lately?

And on this dragon woman, it had no effect at all!

After a long silence, Su Yue forced another smile and asked Marei Alaira, "Are you hungry? Shall I get you something to eat?"

"Super-Tier Magic—World Freeze," Xilin explained solemnly. "Because of the Witch of the Evernight's Eternal Night Ritual, my world fell into endless night and stood on the brink of destruction."

"To save it, several Demigods burned through all their Divine Power to freeze the entire world."

"Only when the destined moment arrives will the seal be lifted."

"World Freeze..." Bai Xuan was deeply shaken.

He had never imagined that the Witch of the Evernight's evil magic had left Xilin's entire world frozen.

"Then is Xilin special...?" Bai Xuan asked curiously.
