His eyes were open.

He was falling fast.

"Bruce, I promise. I'm in," Clark said.

"Are you sure? There's no turning back."

"As long as we're here, this planet won't fall into the abyss."

Diana slapped a short sword onto the table.

"Themyscira doesn't interfere with humanity." Bruce stared at the sword.

"The Amazons never abandon their allies." Diana held out her hand and clasped Bruce's. "Whether we face monsters or gods, we fight side by side."

Barry scratched the back of his head, arcs of electricity still skittering across his suit.

"Are you sure you want to come? You could die."

"Mr. Bruce, can I really do this?" Barry lowered his head and scuffed the ground with his toe.

"I mean, I want to be a hero. Like you guys. Save people, beat up bad guys."
