With that, A-Train grabbed The Deep and left. The Deep even turned back to wave.

Lin Mo watched them flee the classroom as if their lives depended on it, at a loss for words.

Joanna stood up too. She came over, linked her arm through his, and watched their retreating backs.

"They ran pretty fast."

"Maybe they really had something to do," Lin Mo said casually. Joanna glanced at him.

"Do you believe that?"

"No."

"Then why make excuses for them?"

"They're not worth the trouble."

Joanna gave a soft huff, but after hearing him say that, she let it go.

After all, people like The Deep and A-Train were hardly threats in her eyes. At most, they were a little annoying.

Besides, Lin Mo really did have other plans today. Since he had decided to find Original Compound V for Joanna ahead of time, there was no reason to put it off. He would visit Vought headquarters today and have a look.

If Vought still had samples of Original Compound V or any related information, it was worth checking out.

The items in the System Mall were too expensive. If he could get something from
